The War Room: Final Trial

*Fae starts warping the coins to make better building blocks*

"Ally would be the one who completes their goal."

[The City [EclipseZwolf]]

"Hmmm..... Maybe I should make this simpler. Let's make a slight change to the original question."

-Finire clears his throat-

"Who or What is the AllY and how do they/it assist in my accomplishing my end game?"

[Daiwa Scarlet]

"Let's see... You already know of the effect of the MAKE you have here, so that probably isn't your goal... These Stein Weapons that you're testing would probably aid in your war against Aeturnus... The traitor's objective is directly related... Fighting would help you test their potential... I am not sure how exploring relates to them, but they did change during my wanders. Would Ally by the Stein Weapons? Perhaps one that had been touched by Penultimate MAKE."

[The City [EclipseZwolf]]

"Hmm....Well, not quite, but the right direction this time. Lets toss in another question. What has happened to everyone of the players as they explored the Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Quarters?"

"Then Ally would be the research on how MAKE corruption interacts with these Stein weapons?"

[The City [EclipseZwolf]]

-Finire sighs-

"No one gets this coin. The AllY refers to a MAKE mixture that brings all the powers of MAKE together. You all have been here getting affected by multiple different types of MAKE and the traitors are tracking that percentage on each person. The AllY would be a dose of MAKE that upon consumption would grant one a perfectly even, balanced, and stable Stein Weapon of Emerald, Gold/Air, and Flower. AllY actually has nothing to do with the meaning of hte work ally. It is meant to be symbolic. All - Y. Don't think of the Y as a letter, but rather multiple paths coming together."

-Finire shreds a couple index cards and moves to another-

"Now bearing in mind what the AllY is. Why do I need a MAKE concoction that would grant the bearer the best of all the merged worlds so to speak? And I need a specific answer here. The answer, 'because dat dank powa help you bash Aeturnawhatsit' is not an acceptable answer. Be specific why I need each of the three powers."

[Daiwa Scarlet]

"I suppose it was odd that the diamond was able to absorb the other MAKE mixtures, but I never thought to question it..."

*Fae stacks the coins in a small spiral*

"The concoction of the three MAKEs is necessary because each nullifies a weakness of another. Amaranthine appears to be the most powerful of the three MAKE, but it requires a large reserve of energy to function. Emerald provides this energy, but has a drawback of making it difficult for one to move. Gold gives you the flexibility necessary, and its weakness is countered by the power of Emerald."

[The City [EclipseZwolf]]

"Correct enough. Emerald and Gold are simple, they provide power and speed respectively. Its true that Amaranthine requires a significant amount of energy to work appropriately, but there is something more important regarding it. Emerald generates a different kind of energy than Amaranthine needs, so that won't work either."

-Finire shuffles the index cards like a deck of cards-

"As those of you who read her papers recall, Florain seems to eat people's souls to generate the energy she needs. I don't claim to fully understand it, but THAT ability is the reason Amaranthine is included here. The ability to use what boils down to nonsensical magic is nice, but not critical."

-Finire pockets his index cards-

"Everyone here started with a Stein weapon of pure diamond. For most of you paying attention your stein weapons are based on mine. As I showcased in our initial meeting, I have complete control over my body's state with the use of my weapon. Those of you who have become corrupted will also realize there isn't currently a way to reverse corruption and shift back to a pure state."

-Finire interlaces his fingers and looks out over the table-

"So, you all were brought here to serve as mini-stand ins for me. I can't really afford to experiment on myself since I can only do it once. Murder was involved for the simple reason that it forced your stein weapons to reconstruct your bodies, during which you were extremely susceptible to MAKE Corruption."

-Finire chuckles-

"In the end, this game was only going to end in one way. When a significant sum of players reached an adequate variance of MAKE corruption. Solving the mystery here was merely an excuse to spend time in the quarter's thereby gaining their corruption. Murder here was merely an excuse to enter a state liable to become more easily corrupted."

-Finire reaches into his jacket and pulls out the Traitor Tracker Sheet-

"The reason I gave everyone this piece of paper and was so vague about how whoever's name was on a full sheet would win, was to encourage experimentation. There is no 'Victory sheet' for traitors, because there are no traitors. Everyone here is on the same team, my team. Or I guess in that case is everyone a traitor? I would have accepted either answer. I mean come on, who REALLY leaves out a book about making someone betray their friends? And how could I possibly track murderers if I needed multiple players to keep an eye on things?"

-Finire shrugs-

"In the end, it boils down to that no matter which path you chose, mystery, murder, or traitor, you were becoming corrupted by MAKE. So..... I have another question."

-Finire stands up and leans up against the table, scanning the room-

"What do you think happens next?"

[Daiwa Scarlet]

"You still need that data on corruption percentages, although there are outliers like Mari that had gotten an excess. She is probably the closest to your intended mixture without the balancing factor. After making a perfect mixture for yourself, I suppose you are going to try and steal Aeturnus' soul."

[The City [EclipseZwolf]]

"Like I said, I already have all the data. I actually DO have enough security cameras for that! Mari has a temporary state like what I want. Yes she can swap between them, but the moment she gets exposed to any serious corruption or pushes one of the three too far, her body will shift completely to that corruption. Plus, if all it took to make AllY was to chug the same amount of each MAKE Mixture simultaneously I wouldn't have needed to host this crazy little killing game."

-Finire flicks a coin at the model tower, where it lodges itself in the side-

"As to that bit about Aeturnus, yes. The plan is to create an opening and capture his soul with the Amaranthine powers. Immortal, eternal, or just plain indestructible. None of it matters if you are imprisoned somewhere you can't escape."

-Finire reaches underneath the table and grabs what appear to be a small variety of army men figures. Each with its own color being either gold, green, blue, or silver and tosses them so that they land around and on the tower-

"My motive in this doesn't really matter. Why I want to do this is irrelevant to you all. To everyone here you now have two options."

-Finire stands up and looks around the room-

"You can choose to be neutral or side with Aeturnus. If you do, fine, I won't do anything further to you. I won't be letting you leave this building until I finish with Aeturnus though, so another month or two camped out here."

-Finire pulls a bottle out of his pocket and sprinkles a few drops of its contents around the model of the tower. Shortly afterward the strange coloration starts to slowly climb up the model, ever approaching the pinnacle-

"The other is to side with me and join in on my assault of Time's Tower. I'll explain the details later on, but to sum it up....Those who join me will have their Stein weapons further amplified so your abilities get closer to my own or the others here. Of course, I'll provide anything you desire as payment, you'll find I'm not short of cash. To the one person who seems to actually care that things are happening, Fae, I'll let you have a taste of AllY, should you so desire. Due to your existing corruption you won't get its full benefit, but it should still be much more than nothing."

-Finire reaches into his pocket and pulls out one last Index card-

"I have one last question. Whose side are each of you going to take in this upcoming Blood Confrontation?"
