Wooden planks line ceiling, and a little light streams through. It's not enough to cleary see the ground however, and as you walk, you trip over things. You can't quite make out what they are. You can see a little light from a tunnel in the wall.
In the darkness, you can see some stairs leading up. The smell of something burning is coming down from upstairs.
