Hello everyone, these are going to be the rules of the Blood Shift Skype Chat. Please adhere to the rules so that we have an enjoyable season.
Thanks for everyone's cooperation!
Blood Shift Skype Chat Rules
1. The only people allowed in the chat are those who are directly involved with the game. This includes the Mastermind(s) and the players. The exception to this rule are the site Admins, who as of now are Air and Luna
2. The chat is strictly for Blood Shift related topics. If it doesn't involve Blood Shift then please post it in the Off Topic Chat for everyone.
3. The chat is In-character. This means that Role playing is encouraged, but not required. You must adhere to the knowledge your character knows and only that knowledge, if you learned something in the Off-Topic then it does not count. In the chat you ARE your character meaning things you say can be treated as if they came straight out of your mouth on the forums.
4. If you need to say something Out of Character, say a question about game mechanics that is fine and allowed for this chat. I may ask you to talk to me privately about it if the chat is currently being used for something important.
5. The Dead are always out of character in the Skype Chat. They may not speak of anything related or pertaining to the trial at hand. Doing so is punishable. You may talk about the Mystery or unrelated topics, but anything and everything trial related is strictly forbidden. I am going on an Honor System that you don't tell people things in PMs, so please don't for the sake of fairness.
6. The Dead May investigate their own deaths. I will not tell the person how or why they died, just that they were killed. As such they may pm me and investigate without moving around the map. This is so that those who die do not feel left out during the time they wait for revival.
7. This rule is an extension of rule Number six. The dead player may only learn the inventories of players that have shared the information or have already had it revealed by the living players. This is to prevent any dead players from obtaining otherwise difficult to obtain evidence by simply "frisking" everyone since they are dead and would not suffer any consequences. In exchange for this the dead players will be alerted when they have nothing left to discover so that they do not search for a piece of evidence impossible for them to find.
8. Bringing personal disagreements or arguments that are not related to the game and are simply because of anger will not be tolerated. Breaking this rule for the first time will result in a warning from the mastermind. Breaking it a second time will result in being muted in the chat. Breaking it a third time after having your privileges returned is grounds to be removed from the game entirely. Don't. Do. It.
9. More rules may be added as the need arises.
