"Your flight crashes after passing through a mysterious portal. As the sole survivor, you awaken to an unfamiliar land lit by stars you’ve never seen. This land is Escario. Quickly marked as the Chosen One, the Stranger of Sword City, you must defend this place, and choose your allegiances carefully..." - Summary on the Steam page.
THANKS SOVA FOR EDITING IMAGES AND MAKING THEM NOT GARBAGE LIKE I WOULD
As I mentioned on the Skype group, got this game called Stranger of Sword City, seems to be a dungeon crawler where you create I believe up to 16 characters and have 'em explore dungeons and get stronger and whatnot. Apparently it's possible to import your own graphics in, so I was wondering if anybody wanted to hit me up with random bits of info.
For starters, a character name, then an image representing your character (.png, .bmp and .jpg extensions only, apparently.), their age (10 to 99, the older a character is, the more bonus points they get when being created but if they die, they're down for good whereas a younger character has fewer points but has more chances with death). On top of that, there are 8 classes, Fighter, Knight, Samurai, Wizard, Cleric, Ranger, Ninja and Dancer as far as I can see.
Thanks for taking the time to give me info here, I'll be sure to stream our squad whenever I'm off of work (A few hours tonight, binging on Saturday night possibly.)
Adding descriptions for classes because why not.
Fighter - A true soldier that specializes in close combat. Heavily armed. (... Does the thing with the sword and stuff falls and dies I guess?)
Knight - Mainly stays in the front row to protect allies. Heavily armored. (Tank.)
Samurai - A front row, speedy fighter. Uses one-hit-kill swords. (Sounds like a Rogue tbh.)
Wizard - A magician that specializes in offensive and support magic. (Long range magical DPS and buffs I guess?)
Cleric - A healer. If equipped with blunt weapons, it fights from mid range. (Keeps us all from dying horribly.)
Ranger - A mid-range class that attacks with bows. Weak, but agile. (Long range physical DPS probably.)
Ninja - A class for advanced players. It can perform various roles. (Jack of all trades, master of none?)
Dancer - Trickster that specializes in singing and dancing. Uses thrown. (I assume thrown weapons? Seems supportive.)
Images are actually somewhat painful to deal with possibly. TL;DR I need 4 pictures of the same thing each with different sizes. I can only import 16 sets, so first come first serve and whatnot.
userImgA [746 x 720 pixels. This is your main character image!]
userImgB [350 x 380 pixels. This is the portrait that displays in your party.]
userImgC [160 x 240 pixels. This is your character creation/selection portrait.]
userImgD [146 x 32 pixels. This is the mini icon that displays during combat.]
Those are our dimensions needed. Preferable to have transparent backgrounds because it'll look nicer and whatnot.
Pictured here: An example of how bad my editing skills are, but hey, it works.
If others want default graphics, I'll post the 4 pages below while hovering over one of them. Hope you don't mind all the massive pictures, sorry!
That's the first page.
Second page.
Third page (seems to be generic portraits?)
Last page, mostly reserved for uploaded ones I suppose.
If anybody wants a closer look at some of the generic portraits as well, just let me know and I'll try and get a picture up for you.
