East Hallway

[Indrid Cold]

The hallway here seems to be very strange in terms of architecture, as you see the hallway ascend a few steps upward only to descend down to a level form. This same architecture repeats itself once more. Between both sets of small stairs lies a door. Past the second set of stairs lies another door and a strange portcullis. The inside of the room behind the portcullis appears pitch dark, as if the light from the hallway can't pierce it. There seems to be no visible mechanism for the portcullis. At the end of the hall lies another door that appears to be locked. Several paintings line the walls here. The floor here seems to be made of marble, with the exception that the floor behind the portcullis appears to be stone.

The door at the end of the hallway has been unlocked to reveal a narrow staircase leading up to the second floor

The portcullis has been shattered to pieces
