"These are the rules for the game that which you will be playing. I created this game. There are many truths I will tell you, but that is not one of them. I merely perfected the game, building it up from bare bones. It seems that fate holds true authorship here."
Setting: Season Tales of the Lies will be hosted in a setting that is mostly medieval and fantasy oriented. It would be appropriate to use a fantasy related character, but the choice is up to you.
Movement: All standard rules for movement shall be implemented for the duration of this season. There will be no exception to this. The standard "1 minute wait" when crossing rooms shall be upheld.
Investigation: All investigations shall follow the normal rules. Please note that only suspects listed in theories may be voted for in execution. Furthermore, all investigations with the motive to solve the case shall grant a set amount of morality (See Special Mechanics below) depending on the intent of the investigator.
Special Game Mechanics:
Motivation of the Action
- Every action (and occasional inaction) will have a positive or negative effect on your morality. Your morality, kept track by the Mastermind's powers, will directly influence your special ability that you will be able to employ throughout the game. All players will start with a neutral morality, and their power will carry no morality bonuses
- Because not all actions are equal, the moral weight to the action will differ between every action, and thus will be treated differently by the Mastermind.
- The morality of an action is not only judged by the consequences of an action, but of the initial motivation. It is improper to say that accidentally killing someone carries the same moral weight as planning a murder and executing it.
-When investigating, innocent investigators actively trying to solve a murder will gain good morality as a result. A guilty investigator will, in any act regarding their crime, gain bad morality due to further involving themselves with their crime.
- Any action that can be connected with a moral intent will be decided at the discretion of the mastermind.
