A man dressed in a black suit carrying an umbrella stands at the top of a long staircase. He descends slowly, reading through a book to himself.
"This is a story about a vengeful god who couldn't stand to be controlled by Fate. And so they began a scheme to kill the God of Fate who they believed was the source of all of their problems. They weren't quite sure how to do it, but with some help from a very generous and handsome god, they managed to devise a method to enter the God of Fate's sanctum and kill them. Of course, there were a few other obstacles along the way, such as a certain Otherwold Gatekeeper that a very generous and handsome god removed for them, but they managed to see an end to all worlds regardless."
"But, of course, there was another lazy and unruly god who opposed them. The God of Isolation, Xinei, had been given a facility by a very generous and handsome god, in case one of their plans went awry and the vengeful god had to be stopped. However, this lazy and unruly god decided that it was too dangerous to let the vengeful god have their way and used the full extent of the facility granted to them to stop the vengeful god."
"Xinei gathered a group of people using cross-temporal portals that located areas where the paradox effect of the vengeful god's destruction was weak and brought them to the facility. But there was a delay in the time they would arrive, and Xinei, being the lazy god he was, didn't feel like waiting until they came and set out to resolve the paradoxes himself. Of course, the vengeful god seeking to destroy the God of Fate, and the God of Fate himself took advantage of Xinei's absence, to reach out to several people who would become their conduits, and used them to try and manipulate the restoration of the worlds in their favor."
"Abelvion, the God of Fate, sought to restore the flow of fate on all timelines by having those who previously died be murdered to regain his power. Nir, the vengeful God of Nothingness, sought to use his conduits to assist his primary conduit, Rin, in the destruction of all timelines to increase his power to the point where he would be able to break into the sanctum."
"And so the result is made clear..."
"The conduits of fate failed in their mission, while the conduit of nothingness managed to strengthen Nir to the point where he could open the door to the sanctum, but not enough that he could enter himself. So Nir sought assistance from his conduit, and ordered him to murder Abelvion himself. Nox, the conduit in question, complied, and struck down the God of Fate."
"Xinei, after having returned from the world which had spiraled into chaos from Nox's interference on the first world, found Abelvion dead, and so he held a trial to determine the killer. And yet the killer was wrongly accused. Girl A - I mean, Azusa Mera, accused herself of being the culprit, and so Nox and Rin both managed to survive the trial and win the game."
The man closes the book, slowly raising his umbrella above him and snapping it open.
"All according to plan."
The man steps down from the final step of the staircase and pushes open a pair of enormous double doors before him. He looks down from a large balcony to where a group of people mostly dressed in white have gathered.
Cranaskous, the God of Dichotomy, grins. "Now let's begin the next stage."
