PLOT:
You wake up in a strange weird room. It's half-way dark, only lit by the light coming from a small glass square from a door. The room smells foul, and it reeks of death. Upon opening the door, you're greeted by a large Angelic statue from the other end of the dark hallway, that seems to stretch infinitely into an abysmal void.
Around your neck you find a weird collar, and in your pocket, something that resembles a flat phone.
ID Card
The ID card is the crucial key for rooms and information.
-When information is found, you can view it in a folder specifically for ID Cards.
-ID cards will be automatically updated from a server.
Manual updates will not update all cards.
-ID Card also work as a notebook.
-ID Cards contain the money you have on your account. You will be registered when you buy something off a store.
Money will be rewarded to everyone who participated in a Court.
The theories will be rewarded relative to the amount of votes they have.
-If you clear a Puzzle or a Riddle, you will be rewarded money.
Your ID card acts like a phone, and you can communicate from a long distance. If you've lost your ID card, please refrain from communicating with people outside of the room you're in. You can also not move out of the room you're in.
Since it acts like a phone, Obtainable Features, aka. Applications and Programs, can be obtained, which could serve useful for exploration and Investigation. These are rewarded or found.
Inventory
You will be given carrying slots with pockets and bags. Please specify where you put your items, or we will assume you're holding all of your items with your hands. Items in your other space will not affect items you can hold. Items larger than your inventory spaces can't be stored there.
Examples:
Left Hand : 3
Right Hand : 3
Pocket 1 : 2.5
Pocket 2 : 2.5
Observe
You can "observe" rooms and people by sending "observe ______" to the mastermind. Observe gives you a notice on noticeable details on both people and rooms. You can also observe the current action of people/things in the room.
Ex. Items they're holding.
Examine
Examinations can be sent by sending "Examine _______" to the mastermind. Examinations give a detailed report on specific items. You can examine multiple items at the same time.
Intuition
By sending "Intuition" followed by the room you're currently in, the mastermind will give you a very vague hint.
Ex. Something seems to be missing.
Intuition can also be directed towards a single target whether it's an object or a person.
Logic Chain
You can get a Logic Chainif you dare to battle me in a debate. If you prove your theory using at least 5 evidence (From Observations, Examinations and Intuition), I can rate how correct your theory is. I can only give you one Logic Chain once a Court Session (Once each Murder and Player court), and indefinitely (Puzzles, Riddles and Exploration).
If the theory becomes 100% correct, it's dubbed a Full Logic Chain. If you're going to present a Logic Chain (Least 50% correct), you must note me first, and I'll present it for you in the debate thread (I will state who when it's presented).
It's pretty clear what will happen if you score 90%+.
A Court, when we get a Full Logic Chain, will be adjourned, and the culprit will be executed. The Items he had in possession will be returned to each of their original places, and a list will be shown in his execution thread.
Murder
A murder will have several "Check Points". The first basic 4 checkpoints are:
-Culprit
-Murder Weapon
-Crime Scene
-Murder Execution
Then there will be more checkpoints depending on how much more elaborate your plan is. The more elaborate plan, the more points the others has to discover. Only the murderer will be notified on how many checkpoints there are in his plan after it's complete. When a player creates a logic chain, the culprit will get a note saying how many checkpoints they're correct in, however he cannot know who it is (unless it's presented).
Player Court; Sueing
If you think a player have done a crime (stealing, vandalising; anything but murder), a player court will start if you present evidence or a theory.
The player will be punished by yours truly, if he would be convicted as guilty.
If he is convicted as innocent, the accuser will be punished instead.
I will scatter evidence around if someone commits a crime, and exploration will not be stopped while someone is Sued. Sueing is a part of casual exploration.
Puzzle Room
Trap rooms.
When a player enters a Puzzle Room, he/she will initiate a Puzzle. They will then be given 24 hours to clear the puzzle.
-If the puzzle isn't cleared within 24 hours, the person will be executed.
If the solver were to die, the puzzle will still remain, and the next person who steps inside the room will be given the puzzle.
-Upon solving the puzzle, an item is granted to the solver.
-Murders are possible even when a Puzzle is given.
Only the person involved with the puzzle can investigate for the puzzle after a murder has completed..
-Other players can help the person who has to solve the puzzle.
A thread will announce the puzzle and the hints to it. The thread will be updated on each hint.
SHSL titles and powers
When you're applying, you only tell me what skill you have. I will then later give you an SHSL title and a power according to that.
