Under the Rubble

Underneath the rotting wooden rubble you find a long cavernous passage leading through it. The wood is shaped in oblique angles and looks like it could fall at any moment, yet the passage is stable. You begin to wonder just what could have made such a passage. As you reach the end of the passage, a wooden plank juts out, a notebook resting on top of it, as if you were meant to find it.
