Conclusion

As a brave few tried to find their way out of the facility, some people wanted to get out more than others. Some people like Dr. Gero. Instead, he wanted to follow Alexander's orders and murder his way out of the facility. So murder he did. His first victim was a wonderful coworker of his: Barry. But Barry wasn't enough to satisfy his bloodlust. He needed to kill one more person for Alexander to help him escape the facility. So, instead, he waited for poor Edward to be all alone and vulnerable. Then, he struck her with that mighty wrench of his. He then proceeded to drag her across the hall, stab here, and then hide the body. A trial happened due to Xavier's orders, but nothing came of it. Instead, Dr. Gero was contacted by Alexander and the path to the surface elevator was opened. However, when he reached the elevator, Alexander wasn't there. Instead, the monster that had been chasing them all was. Not only that, but the words that came out of its mouth were from two familiar voices: Alexander and Xavier. It knew that if the others were left alive, they could damage its precious Hive. So, it had Dr. Gero distract them one by one as the monster finished them off. He silently approached Harold and hit him with the wrench, stunning him long enough for the monster to decapitate him with its claws. Next to go was Vincente. Dr. Gero approached him from behind and sent his wrench flying into his...vulnerables. Vincente was sent to his knees and Dr. Gero relentlessly hit him with the wrench until the monster showed up. Vincinte sees its mouth open up, revealing glowing teeth under that smile, and finishes off Vincinte. For the others trapped down there, the monster visited each and every one of them and left them in pieces. When only Dr. Gero and the monster remained, it revealed the tool he had been hiding all along to fix the elevator. It promptly used it and the elevator began its ascent.
