The Top of The Tower

[King V]

-Lloyd pauses for a moment, then he seems to recall something and runs up to Alice and bashes her again-

"Verbal Bullet - Lightning!"

-Alice catches the weapon and roundhouse kicks Lloyd in the stomach, Lloyd manages to block the kick and goes flying back again-

-For an instant a purple energy travels across Lloyd's weapon, but it withstands the strike-

"Second strike complete. Third strike:


'If a ______ roars in your stomach and nothing can hope to quell the motivation that lives in thy heart, then strike again!'"

-Lloyd pauses and glances down at his pocket for a second, then he charges forward again and attacks Alice-

"Verbal Bullet - Fire!"

-Alice takes the hit and skids back, then she aims her arm at Lloyd and fires a bolt of purple energy at him, Lloyd blocks the shot, purple cracks start forming on his weapon but it remains intact-

"Third strike complete. Fourth strike:

'If your will is as unstoppable as a glacier and the _____ serves only to slow thy enemies, then strike again!'"

~arrives and watches in awe~

"Just playing along like little lambs, I see."

*looks in disgust*

-Lloyd pulls up a small sheet of paper briefly before lowering it into his pocket and rushing at Alice-

"Verbal Bullet - Cold!"

-Alice and Lloyd exchange blows, and Alice blows Lloyd away with a blast of purple energy. But Lloyd lands on his feet, several more purple cracks form in his weapon, but it remains intact-

"Fourth strike complete. Fifth strike:

'If the ______ cannot blind you and serves only to illuminate your path, then strike again!
'"

-Lloyd glances at the sheet of paper in his pocket again before charging forward-

"Verbal Bullet - Light!"

-Everyone hears a ticking sound and as Lloyd attacks he strikes thin air, Alice instantly reappears behind Lloyd and punches Lloyd in the back. Lloyd goes flying again, and purple energy shrouds his weapon, but his weapon stays intact-

"Fifth strike complete. Sixth strike:

'If you are prepared to see through the _________ and shake off the shackles of lies, then strike again!'"

*Isumi seems to recite something from memory*

“I was hoping that Aeturnus would deem my theory as the best, but it seems Lloyd made a good point in his as well. He’ll get the first attempt, but it doesn’t matter. From what the Forging of Eternity looks like, Lloyd doesn’t have the competence to succeed. He’ll fail, then it’ll be my turn to-”

“I’ve won. After so much searching, solving, deducing, and even after being killed and revived once, I, Nue Houjou, have completed the Forging of Eternity, and possess a new Eternity Weapon. And now… I’m out of here. Seriously, this tower is so stuffy and all Aeturnus does is brood about something that happened way back in the past some hundreds of years ago. I’m so over this. Aeturnus says the other Eternity Weapon should stabilize the gap in the world or something, which means I don’t have to be here as long as it exists. Well, goodbye Time’s Tower. I’m going back to the temple.”

"I hope he's ok!"

~walks over to the edge of the tower and looks over~

"What even is this magical place?"

~'Probably the deepest pits of Hell where we shall spend eternity suffering.'~

*Isumi points an imaginary fan at Nue*

"Now then, I'll ask again. Will you tell us about your Eternity Weapon?"

-Lloyd pulls up the sheet of paper in his pocket again, then dashes in to attack Alice-

"Verbal Bullet - Darkness!"

-Alice blocks several of Lloyd's attacks, then purple spheres of power appear around her and all blast Lloyd simultaneously. Lloyd blocks with his weapon, but he goes flying back. Purple cracks appear in his weapon but it stays intact-

-Suddenly Stocke tries to run up to Lloyd, but Emil runs up to him and dropkicks him, and Stocke collapses, Alice glances briefly in their direction before turning back to Lloyd-

"Sixth strike complete. Seventh strike:

'If your ________ boils in your veins and rushes with the beating of your heart, then strike again!'"

-Lloyd looks at his handy sheet of paper again before attacking-

"Verbal Bullet - Blood!"

-As Alice is struck, she disappears and reappears behind Lloyd, then blasts him with purple energy. Lloyd gets sent flying, and his weapon starts to smoke, purple cracks ripping through it, but it is still somehow miraculously intact-

-Meanwhile Deadpool runs up to Emil off to the side and thrusts a taser at him, but Emil grabs Stocke and uses him as a shield to block the taser-

-Alice glances over, but doesn't say anything. She turns back to Stocke-

"Seventh strike complete. Eighth strike:

'If you are prepared for a ________ with no end, then strike again!'"

-Lloyd shoots another glance and his paper and runs off-

"Verbal Bullet - Story!"

-Lloyd smashes at Alice from overhead, but Alice makes a gesture and a shield made from purple energy appears. She raises an arm and blasts Lloyd through the shield and he goes flying. Huge cracks appear in Lloyd's weapon as purple light begins shining through them-

-Deadpool strikes at the unconscious Stocke with the blunt side of his hatchet, and the force causes Stocke's body to topple over Emil. Mei Misaki dashes towards Lloyd, but Nox gets in her way and blocks her from reaching the center-

-Alice gives an irritated glance in their direction-

"Please refrain from violent actions until the Forging has been completed.

Eighth strike complete. Ninth strike:

'If you have the _______ to predict the future and to act based on your goals, then strike again!'"

[King V]

-Lloyd looks at his cheatsheet again and runs off-

"Verbal Bullet - Sight!"

-Lloyd swings his weapon and an arc of purple energy shoots towards Alice. Alice blocks the attack, then fires a giant purple stream of energy at Lloyd. Lloyd blocks again with his weapon, and it shines with purple light-

-Emil shakes off Stocke and runs towards Mei. Deadpool runs over at Nox and strikes at him with his hatchet, Nox blocks with a red wristwatch he's wearing, but Mei strikes Nox with a taser and he collapses. Then Emil runs up to Mei and dropkicks her, sending her to the ground as well-

-Alice looks annoyed, but is forced to focus on Lloyd-

"Ninth strike complete. Tenth strike:

'If you are not afraid of the __________ darkness of time, then strike again!'"

"HEY ALICE! YOU KNOW LLOYD IS CHEATING RIGHT?!"

"Lloyd and Alice. I would advise that the two of you stop unless you want to risk the annihilation of this timeline."
