"This is all just a trick! You guys are falling for it, hook line and sinker! Don't be so stupid!"

"This Aeturnus guy doesn't really exist! He doesn't need the Eternity Weapon for anything! It's all just a sick game for us to murder each other!"

"Maybe you should have been exploring instead of standing in one place Lloyd!"

"I don't see you offering a more logical explanation, Seija. For what purpose would somebody as powerful as Aeturnus decide to have you kill each other? He has no motive if he's truly as powerful as he seems to be, as he could just kill you all outright. His absence is also duly noted, even by us. Why would he allow us to wander around in his tower? These questions just keep piling on."

[King V]

"Hmm... considering I've found numerous documents throughout the tower indicating that someone named Aeturnus has been doing research, and that our invitation here was signed by someone named 'Mr. A', I'm inclined to believe that Aeturnus does exist."

"However, perhaps the fact that he isn't here is a clue in itself. Maybe Aeturnus perished because he was unable to withstand the pressure caused by the Eternity Weapon he possessed, and the reason a new Eternity Weapon must be forged is because the energy source Aeturnus discovered is unstable. A new Eternity Weapon must exist so that Blood Weapons can continue to supply energy, and won't cease to function or implode. That's the new crisis we're facing now, and Aeturnus had his assistant, Alice, gather up possible candidates to forge a new Eternity Weapon."

"WAIT WAIT if an Eternity weapon is forged wouldn't we perish because of the pressure?"

[King V]

"That could be it, Nue. But I don't think Aeturnus died. I mean, he did send us invitations to come to the tower. And I think if he died, there would've been a much more visible effect on this whole game. Plus, I don't think Aeturnus would have us sign ourselves up to die from the pressure of the new Eternity Weapon. We could always just refuse and walk away."

"I think it's more like Aeturnus needs another Eternity Weapon to share the pressure. He's been the only one who has an Eternity Weapon so far, and he's been really pressured by it, so maybe another Eternity Weapon would slow down or even stop whatever the pressure is causing. It'd be like having 2 doors instead of 1... if that makes sense..."

"Do you idiots really plan to let this Eturnez guy do what he wants? I've seen some of you show that you are more wolf than sheep, so show me it again. A REVOLUTION is in order."

-Lloyd steps forward to face Alice-

-Alice begins muttering-

"...engaging Eternity Weapon protocol... accelerating Aeturnum structural output... maximum power output exceeded... engaging Transformation protocol..."


"Eternity Weapon Transformation Complete."

"First Strike:

'If you remember the ______, if you learn from the mistakes, but never turn around. Then Strike at me!

If you know this then Strike at me mentally and physically!'"

[King V]

-Lloyd mutters to himself a little before dashing up to Alice and attempts to clobber her-

"Verbal Bullet - Past!"

-Alice braces her arms in front of her and blocks the strike, she strikes back with a punch and Lloyd goes reeling, for a moment a purple energy travels across Lloyd's weapon and seems to hold out-

"First strike complete. Second strike:

'If ______ flies through your mind and your soul resounds with the thunder of your desires, then strike again!'"
