Changeling the Lost
Villain Suggestions
I am trying to decide on some of the major antagonists in my tabletop game I run known as Changeling the Lost. If you don't know about it I would check this thread I created earlier[linked below]. It has an explanation of things, in as succinct a manner as I am capable, which means its a mile long.
CHANGELING THE LOST
I am looking to decide on the last three members of my antagonist motley(a group of changelings working for the same purpose). I want to have one changeling in the group from each of the Seemings. These are Beast, Darkling, Elemental, Fairest, Ogre, and Wizened. Currently I have one for Fairest, one for Ogre, and one for Wizened. I am looking for ideas on what kind of character to paint as the bad guys from the Beast, Darkling, and Elemental groups.
You are free to just toss up interesting character ideas, but the main gist of the character is that they have to be aligned with the faction in changeling known as the "Loyalists." These are changelings who align themselves with the True Fae for their own purposes. Whether its bringing the True Fae back or pulling changelings back into captivity anyone who assists the True Fae are "Loyalist." So if you propose a character who is a villain, but is built to not be aligned with the True Fae, then I have a slight problem. The group members have their own individual desires about what they want the Fae to be, but they all adhere to one very specific goal involving interaction with the True Fae. So feel free to give characters their own motives, just leave them open on a level to serve a greater objective in pursuit of their own.
You all can pick stats like in the character creation thing I linked above, or just design a character personality. Since these are antagonists they tend to be on the more powerful side of things. So feel free to draft characters as slightly overpowered in comparison to the regular characters. The leader is already a deity at everything though, so try to pick a little more specified character mindsets. Of the three I have created thus far, I have the all powerful leader, the strategist who works with powerful fae magicks, and a more all around character who serves in a variety of roles. So while you can pick characters along those lines and I expect to have overlap, just know I already have those kind of characters in the group.
Have some fun with this! I may or may not use any of em but if we have fun then that is a sign that we have succeeded in our purposes.
