Hallway Balcony

The balcony is made for large individuals. The steps would be troublesome for most normal sized individuals to ascend. It overlooks the lower hallway and can see all the way to the front door. Most people passing could be seen comfortably from this viewpoint. The railings around are of a warm golden tint, the walls of bright red and carpet of crimson. There are crooked paintings of the Red King and Queen on either side of the door, the Queen's irrationally larger. The door is metal and looks quite heavy. It is black and gold, two halves forming a pentagon with a sharp point.
