"Asmis, would you care to explain why were you decapitating the corpses? It only serves to throw suspicion on you, although you're plenty suspicious already for being one of the few in the basement at the time of the murder. As far as I'm aware, you were actually the only other person who was in the basement alive. The stairway had not been open and I had been standing before one of the possible exits during the murder, so would you care to explain what you had been doing?"
"Asmis triggered the investigation for the corpse of Jay, but she failed to trigger the investigation for the corpse of Colm. Seeing as she had likely decapitated Colm, she was either the first to discover Colm or the one who murdered him. This makes Colm the likely culprit of for the murder of Jay, and Asmis the likely culprit for the murder of Colm."
"As this is Jay's trial, I will leave my first theory on Colm."
"The murderer of Jay was Colm. The murder weapon was probably something like a pen, seeing how it left round holes. Colm ran from the scene after stabbing Jay and left bloody footprints leading to the room his body currently lays in."
