A decent sized room with various tables set up and models of submarines, trains, tunnels, buildings, gear, excavation equipment, etc. There are also drawings around the room of various designs of each of the models, most of which were never actually turned into models. This room seems to focus primarily on coming up with new designs for already existing equipment along with developing new ones. There are also drawings of the abyss, with various labels and the equipment necessary to withstand the immense pressure.
