- 2 Star Privileges! Well, as you all may or may not know, I have just finished hosting my first season as a 1 Star Mastermind. From that, I have learned what I need to work on for my next season. So, I would like to get this approved before I start typing up room descriptions, since it does require 2 Star privileges.
- Plot! In my next season, you all wake up in some strange facility with no memories prior to waking up. You also wake up with an artifact (of your choice) in your pocket. With no memories, you must find a way to escape the facility...or die trying. There will be the standard two ways to win: murder and plot. However, instead of the standard plot ending, there are also two secret endings. And, unlike Season Assassin's Pledge, it is now possible for multiple people to survive the season! So, no need to blow up the map to save your friends!
- Enemy! Here is the 2 Star surprise! I don't want to spoil anything, because plot discovery is key this season, but the gimmick is that you will not be alone in your little horror facility! Yay! A friend! Except, this entity is not exactly friendly. In fact, it would much rather have your head on a wall instead of having evening tea with you. It's movements will be, for the most part, randomized. And, as a piece of advice, I wouldn't try engaging in combat with it. So, have fun murdering and solving plot without being eviscerated by it! As long as you hide when you hear it coming, you should be fine.
- Artifacts! Character creation will be more open this season. I would still prefer more humanoid beings, but the inclusion of your artifact will be the biggest factor in your character. This artifact is something that your character will hold dear to them and is the most important to them. When you are hiding under a desk while the enemy lurks around the same room, trying to hunt you down, holding and looking at your artifact will calm your character down. You wouldn't want to have a panic attack when certain death is just a few feet away, now would you?
- Documents! With the inclusion of plot, there will be more plot based documents to find! Good luck putting the pieces of the puzzle together!
- Collectibles! Throughout the map I will be hiding a form of "collectible" for you to find. You don't have to pick it up, you just have to find it to get the credit! Can you find the most?
- Achievements! Not only will the basic, ending-based achievements be available, but I am adding season-specific achievements. Things like finding all of the plot documents or all of the collectibles in a season.
- Improved Room Descriptions! As opposed to Season Assassin's Pledge, the room descriptions will be more...engaging. And there will actually be more room diversity this time around! Not only that, but you will not be loaded down with puzzle after puzzle!
- Better Hosting Times! Possibly the main problem with Season Assassin's Pledge was that I only hosted for 2 hours at night. So, this time around, I would like to offer a variety of hosting times! Instead of the night hosting time, I will also be hosting a mid-day hosting time (the specific time will depend on my course schedule at the time this is hosted) or even a morning hosting time! Or maybe a mixture of all three! That way, I reach out to more players!
- Improved Murder Mechanisms! I had some complaints about the murder mechanics in the previous season. So, I will be more mindful on player's reactions when engaging in murder/combat. Hopefully room descriptions will also help with this. One incident last season was with the fact that it was hard to judge how to murder due to lack of descriptions in the room. I will be addressing all of these issues in this new season.
- More Administration! Another major issue last season was with cheating. Now that I have the basics down, I will be monitoring more on how fast you guys move from room to room and if you put a dot every single time. If I see any cheating this time around, I will be more harsh on the player. If you do not post a dot every time you enter a room, there will be a punishment, beside's Eclipse's warning.
