Nox, Venera, Yin, Rena, Kizami, John Smith, Trucy, Kazuo, Servbot, and Rob, having made it outside the Palace, escape to freedom. They reveal the horrors of the Palace to the kingdom, striving to return to their normal lives. Venera, being seen as most fit to take Princess Caelle's place, becomes Queen, with Yin as her Prime Minister. The two work on rebuilding the palace and reforming the past five centuries of Princess Caelle's misused power.
What was the true secret behind the Palace? A simple story of a girl going too far with her ambitions. Flying too close to the sun and falling down, yet still too stubborn to not get up. After 502 years of her ghostly reign, she was rightly the victim of regicide, having committed crimes of unspeakable volume. The dangers of alchemy still linger, but the survivors look to a future where such things will never be repeated.
But some still say that when they walk near the ruins of the Palace, they can hear an echoing male cackle.
