Plot: You, as the players, have woken up in a dungeon cell, with no real memory of how you got there. You only remember your name, but you have no memory of who you are or who your fellow captives are as you stir from your slumber. Can you unravel the secret of why you were brought into this nightmare of a place, of who brought you here, and even who you really are? And most importantly of all, how far are you willing to sink to obtain the truth and escape Castle Dour?
Character Creation: Character creation is only limited so that a character you pick isn't something completely impossible to fit inside of a jail cell. Character abilities/ powers will be issued based on your Character and their SHSL (they dont have to be high-schoolers, but I didnt want to call you guys the Super Amnesiac Levels). If you choose to add any optional information about your character, I will take it into account when choosing your abilities.
Setting: The setting will take place in a castle that seems to have a very strange architecture at some points. Paying attention to how rooms connect can often help a player find the occasional easter egg I have hidden in the castle walls.
Rules:
- Movement: movement rules are standard based for this game, and are not subject to change any time soon.
- Psychotic Break: There will come points in the game where your mental status will deteriorate enough to the point where you might begin to hallucinate. This is called a "Psychotic Strain". During a "Psychotic Strain", you will have several minutes to attempt to find a way to restrain yourself or try to make it to a safe area where you can keep yourself and others from harm. If you enter into a "Psychotic Strain", eventually, you will enter what is called "Psychotic Break", where you will temporarily lose control and begin to do just about anything from breaking items in the area to hurting yourself to hurting/killing others and other strange things. After a short amount of time, you will regain control of yourself and end the "Psychotic Break" (please note that Psychotic Breaks have been limited so that all out suicide doesn't occur if you lose control. This is just so the system remains fair and no one feels that RNGesus is that evil with them)
-Trials: Trials will be held the same as always. You will be informed by the mastermind of your allotted time for the trial, which will usually be the average 24 hours.
-Time Zone Stuff: I am running on PST right now, so hosting will often occur between 3pm and 9pm. This may be subject to change, but will only change after I have notified every game applicant and Eclipse of any situations that occur
