Stairs lead down into a dark basement. The room is small and lit by a single candle on a large stone table. Upon the table is a setup of glass tubes, beakers, and metal objects holding and connecting everything together. There are glass and metal chambers that are part of the setup that contain odd devices for substances to pass through. All tubes of the setup originate from a metal ring which floats above what appears to be a magic circle drawn into the table. In front of the setup is a shining keys inside some sort of spherical aethereal barrier. There are several notes on the table.
