The entrance comes to the side of a red and gold oval-shaped room. To the left is the bedchamber, hidden behind a closed, curving curtain. To the right are the Prince’s quarters. The ceiling is covered in paintings of the Prince standing over his subjects, and one of him being carried by what seems to be a sleeping, winged boy.
The bedchamber is bordered by three small steps. The Prince’s bed is elevated by a set of small, receding steps. The bed itself is large enough for several people. The comforter and pillows are thick and gold. Four tall columns from the corners support a panel that is draped in red cloth, hanging down red and gold curtains. The panels of the walls of the bedchamber are bordered with gold and padded with red velvet. Designs of gold poppy stems and flowers cover the panels.The wall behind the bed is a stone slab The stone slab is leaking blood and real poppy stems and flowers are wrapped around it, as well. The stone slab has an etching of closed eyes.
Against the walls are large wooden wardrobes and tables, and one fireplace made of stone and outlined in gold.
The quarters contain many seats arranged in a circle around a large table with tea sets on it. The table also has a thin vase, aptly sized to hold a rod. Against the walls are bureaus with makeup, creams, and busts of men’s heads on them. Chandeliers made of gold hand down from the ceiling. On one of the bureaus is a pair of glasses.
Across the room from the entrance is the door to the Hebe Room. The door to the Artemis Room is tightly shut.
