An enormous hall is the venue of the Grand Ball. Each sound made in the room has a long and loud echo. The floor is made of stone tiling, cut into reflective square patterns. The ceiling is vaulted, rising high. The entire room is painted in white, with frequent dashes of gold.
The room is lighted by numerous large chandeliers, but most of the candles are not lighted. The room is currently very dim. There is one strong ray of light shining through a stained glass window. It seems as if the air moving through the light is visible.
In the far end of the room is a platform with two thrones. Two suits of armor lay on the floor by the thrones. Upon one of the thrones is an old journal. The Princess is sitting on her throne with her rapier in her lap.
There is a trail of splattered blood leading into the room.
