It nice to have a ceiling over your head when under attack, until they get onto the wall. But the murder holes are there to prevent that, or delay it anyway. There are six tables and a dozen benches for the lookouts to not do their job with. The ceiling is a bit low for large individuals to move any quicker than normal sized individuals.
