The scenery overlooks a massive red sphere amidst a sky filled with darkness. It's almost as if nothing else exists in the world. A large table has been set up on the roof of the school. The table is filled with all sorts of party food, pizza, cake, doughnuts, cookies, and some large steaks. Another two large tables are behind it filled with just pizzas. A banner is floating above the table with large and festive letters that read "FINAL TRIAL". A person is lying on the ground next to the table looking very bored.

Rift energy is fairly simple... it is a conceptual binding mechanism. It binds together things on the conceptual plane. For us gods, it's a deadly hazard since it can bind us in the material world.

Gods are beings who fulfill a particular Archetype. My Archetype is Isolation. Gods are able to create anything within their specified Archetype. It's a special God thing. Gods also have ranks, Demigod is one of them. As you can probably tell, a demigod is lower ranked than me, who is a minor god.

Cranaskous has been holding this paradox together with his power. He's observing just in case he has to intervene again. Did you not think it strange that this paradox still exists even after more than 5 fixed points were created in the future?

Cranaskous managed to convince a few mortals to dabble in time travel. He told me to manage the mortals left after the paradox. I have no idea what he's planning by doing that.

Once again, I'm only the manager, Cranaskous wanted me to host trials and such for you mortals... for whatever reason he needed them.

-Xinei yawns after the long speech-

I'm not sure what you mean by... emerge victorious. If you wish to escape the paradox, there are several... methods. I believe I mentioned in a book I wrote... you can create 5 fixed points with death. I may also be convinced to allow you to escape... if you can complete my ordeal. Or you could... use time travel to make it so that this event never happens in the first place... although that would be difficult.
