Corvo notices how accepting everyone is of the royal figure. Maybe it would be fine if he told who he really was. "Fine, I'm actually a bodyguard for the Royal Empress Emily Kaldwin. I was sent here on some unknown mission by the Empress herself. I lied about the history teacher thing because I didn't know how students would react to my presence. Besides, you can never be too careful when you are the Royal Bodyguard. Some people would love to see Emily's and my heads on pikes."
