Season Paradox: Pregame Assembly

As the school principal begins to recite some random speech that makes you feel extremely bored, you notice there is a small gathering in the corner of the auditorium. Curious, you go over and see what everyone is talking about.

*Silently stalks to one side*

"Why hello there! What are you talking about here? Let me in on the fun. That guy's speeches are always so boring, I end up falling asleep, but you bunch don't seem like students anyway so I don't see why we shouldn't enjoy ourselves with some other more interesting topics~"

[Satori]

-Sakuya sits quietly in her seat listening to the principal's boring speech while staring coldly at all the people around her...-

[Hereiss Aelori]

"Greetings, my name is Darius, and I'm the Language Arts teacher here. I apologize for the speech... the principal does this every year. I can see we have some rather interesting guests. Feel free to ask me if you need anything."

[John Dark Souls]

"Its pleasure to meet you Darius, just call me Wine, a lot of people do because of my line of business so I am used to that more than to my own name ha ha."

*the red-haired man doesn't pay even slightest bit of attention to being stared at by strange maid and continues on*
"Oh, but of course, silly me. I suggested talking about more interesting topics but I didn't bring up the topic itself and thats why you all must be troubled right now, right? Well, then, how about... Any interesting or funny stories you heard recently? Yeah, this should do just finely! Who wants to start? Anyone wants to start? Should I start?"

[Hereiss Aelori]

"There was a rather interesting story I've heard on the news, about a meteorite that landed close to the school just a few years ago in fact. It's been kept a secret by the government, but I've heard rumors that there were secret gene grafting experiments that resulted in various chimeras occurring on a laboratory which had been built on a piece of that meteorite. Of course, this is all my speculation, haha. But, it's still a mystery how such a large meteorite landed here in the first place."

[Indrid Cold]

*Snake adjusts his eyepatch as he leans into the conversation*

"Interesting stories?"

[Exusiai]

*Curled up in the corner of the auditorium, Roy awakes abruptly upon the teacher's introduction*
"Hmm..."
*rubs eyelids warily*
"Yes, because of course... that is how I want to spend my first day here... listening to all of you talk. Someone, wake me up when it's all over."
*He tucks his head back between his legs and closes his eyes*

"Oooooh, that does sound like an interesting story. Actually, how about this: since we are currently in school anyway, why not to turn it to interesting stories about schools? Yes, this will do magnificently to make this assembly more fun! This would normally be where I continue on with my own story, but just look at Darius's eyes. His eyes are just screaming that there is more to it and he wants somebody to take the bait. And with that said, I will take that honor upon myself and take the bite."

"But tell me Darius, if that is supposed to be a government secret, how did those rumors spread first? As they say, where there is smoke, there is fire. And so for there to be smoke, there must be at least some sort of fire no? But no! Don't tell it right away! Let me guess... Some of those chimeras escaped the laboratory and were witnessed by normal folk?"

[Deleted]

"Hey what's going on here?"

*talks to sakuya*
"whatcha lookin at little girl got some problems?"

[Hereiss Aelori]

"Well, like I said, it's all just speculation that goes on. But, just between us, there must have been a massive explosion to destroy a laboratory built on a meteor, like the one that struck near the school. Of course, I'm not sure what could have caused such an explosion, perhaps an incredibly powerful chimera went berserk and destroyed the entire laboratory? That's my speculation, at least. Other people have some different ideas. I've heard that the astronomy teacher even witnessed a chimera floating around in outer space when they were stargazing. They claim it's completely true whenever you ask them. Isn't that funny?"

-Sakuya simply ignores the big purple guy and remains silent while listening in to the conversation-

*red-haired man that called himself Wine approaches Roy, takes his shoulders and starts shaking them*
"Its no time to sleep now boy! You will miss out what I can tell must be an amazing story! You can never tell when you might need those! What if you got invited to a late-night pajama party at friend's house and then you started sharing stories between each other? I am 100% sure that if that happened, you will regret falling asleep here right now! So come on, stand up and fight it! I know you can do it!"

"Aha! Just as I thought! There was a witness! But, just seeing a strange creature that looks like it is a mix of few other creatures as well as an explosion shouldn't be enough for rumors to be as specific as a research facility developing genetic chimeras... There must be something else... And that something is... A survivor! Yes, this sounds about right! There must have been somebody, a researcher, or some other relevant person who managed to make it from the laboratory to spread the word! Am I right? Am I?!" 

[Exusiai]

*Roy weakly waves a hand at Wine in partial agitation*
"Urmmph, huh? Friends..."
*five seconds of utter silence*
"Pajama parties and sharing stories... are those what 'friends' do? Either way, I don't need friends, so I don't need any of your 'amazing' stories."
*Roy slumps his head down again to go back to a state of sleep*
