GREETINGS EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO OUR VERY FIRST PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD!!!
Before I declare the wonderful winner of this glorious prize a short summary on what this is and how I examined everyone while deciding who to give this too. The Player of the Month is an award that I give out every month(Starting with this one) to the player who has had the most positive impact on the site, community, and everything as a whole. I have decided this through a few observations. Allow me to provide a list of things I looked for.
A. All posts made during the current month: Quantity and Quality both come into play here. Role playing or monologuing I read it all and stuff that stood out earned points. The count of posts served as a tiebreaker, but no tie this time.
B. Participation in Seasons during the current Month: A small detail, but being active in the seasons is a big part of our community. Participating in seasons earns your points as well. That said.....
C. Mastermind Reference: I asked all our masterminds who hosted to tell me their MVPs and problem players. Getting an MVP reference earns you ALOT of points, while if I was told you were a problem player you lose ALOT of points.
D. Constructive Feedback: Providing feedback on the seasons you played that is constructive and not insulting. Points for providing valuable feedback.
E. Creativity: This one is a little bit tougher, generally I just looked at whether you have been contributing new minigame, season, or mechanic ideas. Quality matters as well.
F. Skype: Last but definitely not least is participation in the skype chat. This is less about posting alot and more about being a positive impact on the skype chat. Causing arguments or being excessively disruptive results in losing alot of points. Being a problem player in the skype chat is arguably worse than in a season so this is the place where the most points could be lost.
Now that I have elaborated on all that I am sure you are curious who has survived the cut and been selected as our PLAYER OF THE MONTH!
I would like to present the Player of the Month award for March of 2015 to a player who has always been a friend and companion during the month. They are always joking around in the skype chat and were active on the forums. To them it was all about having fun and making sure everyone else was having a good time too. They even had several very long conversations with me over PMs about a new mechanic over the site, always worrying about balance and what issues could arise among the players. A Pillar of the Community who has been with us for quite some time, but isn't recognized as much as he should be for just being a Great Player.
