Personality: Likes freedom from authority, women, and taking risks. Dislikes opening up about his true feelings, those who prey on the weak, and being perceived as a coward.

Gene is a notoriously reckless individual, often trying ridiculous get-rich-quick schemes and trusting in his luck and skill to get him out of trouble. He claims he doesn't do anything that won't benefit him in some way, but he tends to step in to protect those that he likes or that he sympathizes with in some way rather quickly, even if it is detrimental to him.
