DICE will now be entering phase 2 of the game. What can you expect from this? New Rules!
Battle System
The battle system will involve 5-10 second phases where each player sends their action per phase and I keep track of what happens. Phases may be shortened or lengthened based on what feels appropriate. Players attack once every 5 seconds and the attack interval may be shortened based on attack speed. Battles may occur anywhere at anytime.
If a player takes damage during a battle, they will lose dice. The amount of dice lost will be proportional to the amount of damage taken. Due to this, dice cannot be rolled and ownership will not change during a battle. The total amount of dice lost cannot exceed 50% of the player's total dice collection. If a player's health reaches 0 during any stage of the battle, they will lose their golden dice if they have one. Stat losses from losing dice will be determined completely at random. The total amount of dice gained will be capped at 10 for knockouts, also only 1 golden dice can be obtained from knockouts.
Players can use skills and stances at any point during the battle. Skills activate instantly, and may be used in combination with other skills. Stances can be entered at any time, but will take 5 seconds to enter and exit. Everything else regarding these should be self-explanatory. The skill cap is limited to 6. A player can request a substitution of skills once per skill. Golden dice abilities can also be used at any time, but will require dice points.
Since it has come up a lot, throwing items is a viable method of dealing damage, however throwing something will result in a 50% power loss, and an accuracy loss of 10% per every meter of distance from the target. This does not apply to ranged weapons, which have their own base range and base power.
Shop System
The shop system is relatively self-explanatory. You may use dice points to buy items in the shop, certain items will have certain effects.
Forge System
The forge system allows you to take your golden dice ability, add dice points, then based on your stats, acquire a new unique ability. The more dice points you use, the stronger the new ability will be. The new ability must be based from a golden dice ability that you possess. I will take suggestions for this, but I will decide on the ability overall.
