So, I make games. Yep. Recently, though, on another site, I held a poll asking which game I should make first. I'll bring a poll here and a couple more places as well, so I can get an accurate view on what people think.
Well, here are the choices. Which should I make first?
1. Time's Viscount: Arthur's Lament
Genre: RPG, Sidescrolling
2. Cognizance
Genre: Visual Novel, with RPG and Puzzle elements as well.
EDIT: I will be voting Impartial in order to see the results. That is why there is one for Impartial straight off, for anybody who chooses to vote.
Well, here are the choices. Which should I make first?
1. Time's Viscount: Arthur's Lament
Genre: RPG, Sidescrolling
Arthur Crozier; an exceedingly normal man. He lived life alone. His wife had died in the past. She was murdered, in fact, and before she had the chance to bear children. However, this is the Dark Age of Renovis. It's truly not uncommon for people to be killed nowadays. As well, with the rumors about the Viscount, it was for the best that Arthur remained to himself.
If there was one thing Arthur was not, he was not a hero. He was simply a farmer, and he did just that. Arthur had military experience, sure, but it wasn't anything heroic, per se. He served the mandatory time and he left. In this train of thought, Arthur looked to his side, seeing a bronze sword on a dilapidated mantle. In fact, it was a wonder that the sword itself was still intact. Arthur had not touched it since hanging it. Not to clean it, not to repair it, never.
However, that would change. That day, Arthur found that something quite unusual had happened. He had gotten some mail. The marker on his mail receptacle was raised to show this. So Arthur grabbed his cloak and tied it around his shoulders, trudging outside to see what he had received.
He was greeted by the seal of Renovis royalty.
"Arthur Crozier:
As you may know, I, the Viscount of Renovis, have been studying magic that allows someone to travel through time and space. I have seen many alterations in our timeline, for better or for worse. None, however, have I seen as joyful as the one I have visited most recently, and the difference is one that only you can make.
I understand that your wife, Elaine, is deceased, is she not? Of course, in this new reality, she is not so. She was very much alive, and well, as you sat upon the throne as king and ruler. Not of Renovis, no. You managed to unite the entire world.
You may change this world and end this Dark Age. None else can, as I have explored all of the options. Only you can make the difference.
The window is closing, and you have seven days left to reclaim what you have lost. Hurry to my castle, and I will discuss with you what you must do.
~Viscount Masuno ng'Renovis"
Arthur folded the parchment and slid it into his pocket. He looked to the road, and looked back to his house. Out of the two, he chose to march towards the house.
The door slammed against the wall as if in a hurry. Arthur passed by his rake and hoe; another unusual occurrence. Instead, his arm reached towards the glint on the wall. The blade of justice lay still there.
And then, Arthur began his journey. Arthur's journey towards destiny.
Time's Viscount is an RPG full of twists and surprises, of heartbreak and of hope, all into one. Join Arthur Crozier on his journey to take back what was rightfully his. What of the Viscount? Does he speak the truth? How about this mysterious group, known only as "Sigma Circle?" Who can Arthur trust, and who wishes to betray him?
There is only one way to find out.

2. Cognizance
Genre: Visual Novel, with RPG and Puzzle elements as well.
A dark room, purely black. A dark pain, purely unexpected. A dark secret, purely unknown.
Irvine Mallory climbs to his feet, his eyesight failing him, his head split from pain. He looked around and saw nothing. He heard around and heard nothing... except another pained groan.
One by one, others rose around him. They had no clue where they were, or what to do. They only knew to escape. They did so easily, despite their conditions. The solution was already there.
One by one, nine young adults poured out into a well-lit room, one that well contrasts the previous environment. And now, instead of frustration, instead of hatred, Irvine heard one thing.
Was it hope?
Irvine looked around. Sure as hell, there were people hugging, people talking. Nobody was arguing. Irvine took a closer look... And he realized that all of the faces were familiar.
Except for one.
Join Irvine and his friends on his fight to freedom. Be witness to peril and to miracle, to hope and to despair. There will be times where people break down. There will be times where people kill. There will be times where there is nowhere left to run, and nothing left to do but to lay and die.
Who is Angeliki? Who is this man who introduced himself as Theta? What are the challenges laying ahead of them? What lengths will people go through to survive?
The only way to know is to remember.
Welcome to Theta's Maze.
