Discord Chat Rules
Discord is a required utility in order to participate in the Murder Mystery Games. As such there are rules that need to be followed for the general enjoyment and success of skype chats.
Rule 1: All Discord chats should only contain members of the site and staff. Un-involved people should not be added to the Discord chats that have to do with Murder Mystery Games.
Rule 2: Please adhere to the topics designated for each Discord group you are involved in with Murder Mystery Games. All topics are allowed in Off Topic while chats for individual games should strictly only contain relevant chat.
Rule 3: Respect the other participants of the chat and do not perform any abuse.
Rule 4: Do NOT bring personal disagreements into the Discord chat. Personal topics should be handled personally and not in front of other members of the site. It is disruptive and harmful and will not be tolerated.
Rule 5: If you have a problem with something in the Discord chat, please calmly ask for it to be stopped and if that does not work please speak with one of the staff and ask them to resolve the issue.
Rule 6: You may leave and rejoin the Murder Mystery Discord chats at your leisure, assuming you have the permissions necessary to be involved in that specific chat.
Rule 7: NSFW Links and images are expressly forbidden. Even if you warn about the link prior, posting it is grounds to be removed or banned.
Rule 8: IRL problems and issues should not be brought forth into the Discord chat. If something has occurred that is causing you specific IRL issues then you should step away from the chat and site until you can recover. If the issue is being caused by another player then please inform me and I will step in and discuss the matter with them personally.
Rule 9: If I have to speak with you due to you inducing some kind of IRL issue with someone else and you refuse to cease the behavior causing it, you will be banned from the site permanently.
All rules follow a basic 3 strike system. Not following the rules will result in at first a warning, then temporary ban, then permanent ban. Depending on the severity of the infraction then you may immediately be banned without warning.
