DIY stands for Do It Yourself. Instructions are laminated onto tables. There’s a shelf of basic craft tools, from glue bottles to popsicle sticks. Although there’s no system that keeps track of who takes the craft items, or where those items are taken to, labels are placed below each cubby to denote the initial amount of each supply. While this shelf doesn’t have any batteries or generators in stock, there’s plenty of complex origami and woodwork samples: a popsicle stick mansion, a papier-mâché black bear, a fortune teller with pop-up dioramas, a wooden helicopter with an adjustable propeller, and a crochet sheep doll.
