Season:
Several people have been chosen through a lottery system to be beta testers for a developing massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The game, itself, features a new accessory abbreviated as CSI, standing for Conscience Integration System. Its function is revealed in its name; it is a helmet that transfers the user's conscience into a virtual plane. There's nothing that could go wrong with this. It's totally not like a certain anime series already carries this concept.
Rules:
This season will be under the general season rules with the exception of the verbal bullet system. The standard verbal bullet system will be replaced by the colored verbal bullet system for this season.
Character Creation Requirements:
The character within the MMORPG will resemble, if not exactly match, the character that has been chosen as a beta tester. In other words, despite the concept of the game, players will only be applying as one character. Character selection will also be limited to humanoids.
Setting:
Although the MMORPG is designed to eventually extend to an open-world map, the current beta test has been reduced to an island to allow the developers to thoroughly document any issues in the game.
Baseline Summary:
A handful of people have been randomly selected to be beta testers for the upcoming MMORPG Restart: Wayward Hero. The incentive is a payment of two-thousand dollars to participants, given that they play the game for the minimum forty hours. The players are transferred into the world of Wayward Hero, but during the first day of testing, an unprecedented beast appears and defeats the players. Rather than the prompt, asking the individual player whether he or she would like to continue or retreat, appearing, everyone is instantly revived. Of course, this wasn't supposed to happen, and as it turns out, the players are no longer able to disconnect from the game. In order to avoid the possibility of a virus spreading, the developers issue a Game-Over command, in which players will be forcefully removed from the CIS headset in a ten-day limit. This is equivalent to abandoning the players' consciences in the virtual realm.
No, this is not Sword Art Online. If anyone expects to see SAO references, then be prepared to be disappointed as I have yet to touch that series.
(Please, note that, although "reviving" is included in the baseline summary of this season, players will only be given one life. This is only used to transition between the pre-game and the start of the first session.
A "ten-day limit" is also mentioned, but in real time, the "time limit" for the season will be longer. Two days of full sessions will be considered one day in season time. This time limit works as part of the plot and to prevent the season from dragging on)
Special Considerations:
The overall season map will consist of two sections. I intend to have the second section of the map hidden at the beginning.
Hosting Times:
Monday ~ 4:30PM - 7:00PM EST
Tuesday ~ 5:30PM - 7:00PM & 9:00PM - 10:00PM EST
Wednesday ~ 4:30PM - 7:00PM EST

(The times listed above may be subject to change during winter/spring/summer/fall break. Due to personal events—exams, projects, etc.—sessions on certain days may be cancelled. This will usually be relayed at least one day beforehand)
Victory Conditions:
1. Murder: Eliminate three other players and survive at least one trial for a murder you have committed (The player motive for this will be revealed during the game)
2. Mystery: Escape the MMORPG and discover the cause of the incident
