The Far Desert
A single monstrous Dune covers the entirety of the farthest reaches of the desert. Upon approach it looks slightly different than the other dunes, almost like it has spikes. Upon getting close enough you realize that the dune isn't shaped strangely, but that thousands of glass spikes are jutting out from beneath the dune. The spikes seem to vary in length but seem to get thicker and extend deeper into the dune than you can see. You imagine with enough force one could shatter a shard of suitable size. At the top of the dune a massive spike of glass extends skyward almost ten yards before coming to an end with the light shining through it forming a_myriad of colors.
