*Returning rather late to the trial, Sakurai tilts foward in an apologetic bow*
"I have only begun to investigate a little while ago, so I don't have much concrete to go on. As we know on a basis, the victim is a magical girl named Homura, found in the same location we were all summoned, the town common. There are multiple fractures on her body, suggesting a serious fall, and what place is more suited than the roof of the town hall?
I also found a subtle piece of evidence to suggest that Homura descended from the err- roof... The sleeping bag was found on the roof, the same one from the guard house. There was blood inside the mentioned item and although the blood could not be identified, Madoka, at some point, had been inside the sleeping bag. A-Anyways, at the common, the victim was clutching another girl, Madoka. It can be assume that Homura had transported the body of Madoka from the previous set of deaths to the top of the town hall, standing three floors above. From there, Homura most likely chose this end by tipping over the edge of the roof.
I don't believe I need to present a motive given the victim's earlier behavior following the death of Madoka. The crying and the denial, in itself, are clear signs of grief; with these, there is also the victim's death wish from the first trial.
Therefore, I claim that the one responsible for the death of Homura... is Homura, herself."

Wendy walks in and slowly takes her spot. It was visible, that she has been crying a lot.
"I... I am so s-sorry! It´s... it´s all my f-fault! It´s all my fault that... Homura-san..."
Her voice trails out, as she begins to cry.
"I am... so sorry! If... If only I... If I just... It´s all my fault!"
She keeps repeating those words quietly. Pausing between her sobs.

『Okay, it might feel kinda awkward coming from person who was so uninterested and totally not too consumed in ufufu kind of delusions about that kind of happenings and those kind of happenings to move even a single step from this spot from previous trial. But. Even then. No! I say, precisely because of that! I think we want to give sis What_was_her_name_again a justice! And I definitely think a boring "it was suicide" kind of ending is justice! As one crazy kid said before: "Its not Justice if its not going overboard!" And so, I'll start from conclusion:』
『This was no suicide. It was a proper murder.』
『What do I have to support my theory?』 『First of all, totally not speaking from experience, but if sis wanted to suicide from grief of their loss of the other girl, they would do it right away. I'm not sure exactly how much time passed, but I think it was a day or two. There is too much of a time lag between the last trial and suicide, and you literally need 0 preparations to just jump off the building.』 『Secondly, sis was more of a "I MUST GET REVENGE" person from my viewpoint. It is more than obvious that in first trial we just lynched a random person unrelated to murder too. While its true that she might've tried looking for true killer but failed horribly cause she was dumb and decided to suicide instead, I would like not to go with that possibility since its boring.』
『So, with those 2 facts aligned, I would like to make a theory, that sis actually found the culprit and called them out to the roof of the building for a duel one on one. But, the culprit who managed to apprehend 1 person and 1 mascot at once before was too much for her and so they beat her like a punching bag and then dropped off the roof to hide the signs of battle. It was also a super one-sided duel so there might have been no signs of struggle remaining too.』
『With this theory in place, it means that as long as the culprit of first murder is identified, so is the culprit for second.』
『But what should I hide, I already know the culprit for 1st trial. Or rather, if you look at their actions in the previous trial from an outsider point of view, it becomes very apparent. And by that, I of course mean: YET ANOTHER MAGICAL GIRL WHAT_WAS_HER_NAME_I_DON'T_REMEMBER!』

"Hah. You idiot. You don't know anything about magical girls. I don't kill girls. I kill witches. If you even knew a thing about us you would know it isn't true. Just go get Kyubey. He knows every action we take. No I have been working my butt off trying to find a nonviolent way out of this hell hole. I DIDNT EVEN WANT TO COME HERE! Besides, I haven't moved in like 3 days. I've been hibernating. But that doesn't matter. The very fact that you think I would harm Homura sickens me. Bring me the proof. The fact that you are going after someone who is innocent means you are putting yourself in a bad light. Now will someone explain to me what the heck is going on? Because if I find out who murdered my friends, you will be next."

『Yep, I don't know a thing about magical girls. Or rather, nothing about magical girls is important except for one fact that they are cute, so your weird blabbering about your enemies or mascot are whatever is pointless. Unless there is some way to prove that magical girls can't kill each other in any kind of direct or indirect way and you and Homura and Madoka were all magical girls for whole duration of this whole game thing, your point is absolutely invalid as a truth. Go try again.』
『There isn't a single bit of doubt out there that you are the culprit of the first murder, you know? Lets just take a look at previous trial, for the duration of it all, you kept throwing out false facts about the murder scene and then in any of your next points you just contradicted them. First it was about murder weapon and the wounds, then you mentioned yourself standing watch but Homura haven't said anything to confirm you being there nearby, neither have I seen you too, while Homura mentioned the sound coming from the house, you haven't, and then on top of everything, every single point you used to make a theory against that vampire person were brought up by you in the first place and not a single of them had any actual proof(verbal bullet) to back them up even though you "investigated" so much. I bet it really felt nice framing when nobody else really bothered arguing? Eh, murderer of another magical girl and a random mascot?』
『Rather than speak any nonsense like that, you better start proving you weren't involved in this murder, because otherwise you cannot deny my theory with you being the culprit. And I think even if this really was suicide, other sheep and killers would feel safer with another killer gone via execution.』

"Actually, I think I know who the culprit is. IKEDA! You were the one who brought up the Alucard theory to me. Then, you were the one to bring the suicide theory to me! You were the second one to arrive to Madoka's murder, making it appear that you had a solid alibi! You have been lying and manipulating us Magical Girls and it must stop here! You went up to the roof where a grieving Homura was. Then, you pushed her off the roof, ending her life. You knew it would be easy to pin this murder on her. But she was a fighter. She wouldn't commit suicide! All my friends are dying and you are to blame."
Tears began to roll down Kyouko's cheeks. "Now only Mami, Sakura, and myself are left!" Kyouko aimed her spear at Ikeda. "You are the one who killed Madoka and Homura."

*Not even expressing a smirk or mock enthusiasm towards Kyoko, Sakurai rolls his eyes with an expression along the lines of 'are you serious'*
"You're accusing me- ... And on such grounds. No evidence and no motive. Would you call this a 'witch hunt'? I guess I'll have to begin with the obvious. Regarding the first set of murders, my so-called theory was based on the convenience that the accused's weapon was missing, following the murder, which happened to be in the correct size range to deal both wounds to the first magical girl Madoka. Speaking of which, I had only asked Alucard of what happened to his sword that he had been carrying much earlier. Also, you did state that you were stationed outside long enough to see when Kyubey and Madoka first entered the guard house, but throughout this period, you did not see me enter or exit the guard house. It was you who decided to push an accusation against Alucard, and a poor one at that. During a majority of the first trial, I ended up scouring through the... sc-scene, and while I willingly shared my own results with you, I didn't confer with you on the final accusation. In fact, right before you returned to the court room to deliver your opinions of the accused, I even informed you that the shovel was not used to hide any murder weapons, which plays rather largely into your run-through at the time, considering the shovel was your explanation of how no one had found the weapon that had done Madoka in and why the accused, Alucard, had arrived to the scene later than most."
*Sakurai's head shakes slightly in disappointment*
"Your accusation on me is an attempt to escape being accused yourself, nothing more. Onto the more pressing matter, I was unable to kill Homura. Putting it simply, ever since Alucard's e-execution, I did not leave the court room until a while after the death of Homura was announced. In fact, during that period, you and Kyubey had also been in the court room."

More tears flowed down Kyouko's cheeks. "I'm sorry Ikeda! I'm just scared! All my friends are dying and I don't know what to do. They didn't deserve it!" Kyouko fell to her knees. "They didn't deserve it..."

『Yes, yes! Exactly as the fox person says! But I want to correct you on one point. Were you watching this magical girl and that mascot from the very end of the first trial to the start of this aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the time to be able to tell they haven't left even for a minute during that? Nope! I'm pretty sure you haven't. So assuming they haven't left and returned because you were here is just stupid. I for once, haven't went a step outside but have no idea who have entered or left, I don't know why you should be able to tell.』

-Kyubey enters-
It seems I've lost even more magical girls. This is truly unfortunate. I must manage my remaining energy assets carefully from now on...
Anyways, this trial is nothing more than a farce. The victim, Homura, committed suicide by jumping off the roof along with the corpse of Madoka. There is no evidence to suggest otherwise, and the only way someone could feasibly have murdered her is if a series of events involving several ridiculous coincidences occurred.
I am not one to believe in miracles, so I must push towards suicide being the cause of death.

『I SEE IT NOW! THE TRUE CULPRIT OF THIS CASE HAS WENT OUT FORWARD WITH A PROOF OF THEIR MURDER!』
『The method of murder is "watching somebody die without helping". When by all means they could've saved them or prevented the death, the culprit chose not to do so and leave the victim to die instead. The so-called migoroshi! So, the culprit can be no other than this girl who claimed to witness it happen!』

"It´s true... that it´s all my fault... I could have stopped her..."
Wendy looks down. On verge of crying again
"But I was too slow! I didn´t even h-have a chance to shout after her, b-before she was already in the air! If only... just seconds before... Maybe.. I could have..."
The voice trails out again.
"I couldn´t do anything... If only... I came... sooner."
