The Gates Open
After collecting 4 aether shards, Arle headed through the double doors and into the Otherworld Gate, where she confronted Nir, the God of Nothingness. Nir had originally been in league with Cranaskous and intended to work with him to destroy the world, but Cranaskous betrayed him, sending the gods of the game to destroy him. And Nir was not amused. He defeated Arle, then went on to attack Cranaskous himself. But Arle refused to give up, and gathered several allies to return and attack Nir again. She confronted Nir at the Restoration Facility beneath Cranaskous's sanctum where the game had been taking place, and fought Nir alongside two of his conduits, Rin and Nox. But in the battle, Nox made the decision to abandon Nir and rescue Rin instead, fleeing the scene. Nir was unable to overcome Arle's relentless attack and eventually he fell and died, ending the game...
The Curtains Fall
Cranaskous steps out of his office in the Restoration Facility, looking down at the carnage that had just occurred on the staircase. His eyes rest on the corpse at the lowest level and he slowly walks down there. His conduit looks up at him as he arrives.
"Master Cranaskous! I killed him for you, just like you said!" Arle says cheerfully as Cranaskous approaches the corpse.
"Yes, marvelous work," Cranaskous praises her. "As expected of me."
Arle looks confused for a second. "What do you mean?"
And then Arle promptly disappears, leaving only a black umbrella behind. Cranaskous picks it up, continuing casually as if talking to himself. "We were lacking so many actors in this game, and so I had to play the role of many different people. It seems like I accidentally took the lead role for myself too, how disappointing... I wonder how many of those gods actually thought they had real conduits? Didn't they know the world had just been destroyed? Where would those conduits even come from? Ah, well, I suppose they didn't. I did do a good job keeping that information from them. Good job again, me."
Cranaskous walks up the staircase, giving a brief look into the office from where he had originally come before moving onward. "How's that restoration coming along, Xinei? Are you almost done pulling the worlds out of oblivion yet?"
"You could have told me about this sooner!" came the reply. "I was actually concerned! I thought you just let him destroy the world with no way to return things to normal!"
"Oh please, Xinei, didn't you research temporal theory yourself? The worlds were simply sent to oblivion, which is the point of this facility, to bring them back. There's no way to destroy the worlds once they're in oblivion, that's contradictive. Anyways, keep up the work, Xinei, we'll need all the worlds fully restored for the next phase."
Cranaskous continues up the stairs and enters the Otherworld Gate. He looks around at the doors around him, and with a snap of his fingers, each door swings open.
"The Otherworld Gate," Cranaskous says aloud, almost to himself. "The connection between the various realms of the gods and reality. With this, one could create new gods at will, releasing them indefinitely into the multiverse... and I've finally taken control over it."
"No gatekeeper here to stop me, no god of fate here to control me, and no god of nothingness here to get in my way. This is it... the interesting part begins now."

Epilogue
After the door to the sanctum had opened, the gods were all free to leave, most of them having done little to accomplish their goals they had set out to do in the game.
Darius Lamar was unable to find the god responsible for committing so many murders that he had been searching for, and returned to reality only to find more murder cases piling up at his desk. It would be a while before he could pin down a definite location for the one he was trying to find again.
Hereiss Qionraem was unable to kill his sister, or take his revenge on the gods he hated so much. And he returned to reality with only vengeance in his mind.
El Ilenskvel realized the improbability of his gaiaphage experiment coming to fruition, and returned to reality to devise a new experiment, one that would definitely succeed. He was followed by Amiadies Malvoret and his allies, Eno, Yuu, and Ala, who were a little too interested in his goals, much to his annoyance.
Mesrin Liarent, no longer bound to serve the god of nothingness, went back to what he had always wanted to do. Relaxing on beaches while picking up girls day after day. Although he did have a habit of fighting any god who he came across during his eternal vacation.
Hadda En'Zena couldn't obtain the power she desired in the game, and so she returned to scheming, and amassing even more power. What would she ever use that power for? Nobody knows.
Mel Sol'Ance had some fun in the game, but her boredom quickly returned, and she went back to destroying planets in her free time. She remained extremely frustrated for some reason, but she couldn't put her finger on why.
Sesarim Ylesva disappeared after the game ended, along with Constance Fedralis and Antimony. Nobody knows where any of them might have gone.
X Adylix had completed her objective and repaid her debt to Cranaskous, so she went back to doing what she did best. Creating unsolvable murders and mysteries, and annoying a certain detective she found was trying to tail her.
Canto Silvia had a premonition before the game's closure. She left for reality with the intent of hunting down Qionraem for some "unsettled business". Perhaps they may encounter one another in the future.
Akronlascherus was never able to figure out how they were brought into the game, and so they simply returned to their sanctum in the otherworld afterwards and went to sleep.
Serene left the game, but was brought back to reality instead of the Otherworld Gate. She was unable to confirm Abelvion's death, and remained uneasy. She made it her new goal to return to the Otherworld Gate and figure out the circumstances of his death. Perhaps she'll have help from a certain detective in the future.
Hereiss Aelori was never able to reconcile with her brother, and fell into despair shortly after the game. She had nobody left to support her, and nobody left to talk to. She simply curled up into a ball and waited for death.
