I already have a season board set up for this, just going to make it official here so I'm on the priority list.
Setting
You have been invited to participate in a game by the God of Dichotomy, Cranaskous. You're not sure what this game entails, but you have been promised that whatever you're seeking will be here in the game. You arrive at the game location, an enormous structure that looks like it could pass for a small planet. Nevertheless, you were promised what you desired most in this game, so you enter. And as the doors close behind you, the God of Dichotomy appears to announce the beginning of Season Quadric Contention.
Murders and Trials
Due to the combat-orientation of this season, trials will be removed. You may still suffer consequences if you commit murder and are caught by someone.
Game Mechanics
Quadric Contention will feature many special combat mechanics such as Bounded Fields, æther, and special zones of the map that will have unique rules when you are in that particular zone. Movement, actions, and everything else must be closely monitored by the mastermind, as the characters in this season have many special abilities that can affect almost every aspect of the game (you'll have to pm the mastermind when you move and carefully follow instructions in room descriptions).
Character Mechanics
All players will select from a pool of predesigned God characters, all of whom have received invitations from Cranaskous for this game. Gods all have an immense set of special abilities, and will each have very specific goals to accomplish in the game. Some goals between Gods may overlap, but each God will have a unique goal of some sort, or possibly several. If all Gods have been chosen, players may choose to be a god's conduit, and design their own character for that role. Depending on how many conduits there are, I may have to alter the goals of each god.
Map Mechanics
Currently there are 2 planned zones for the game map. A rest zone where all gods are at their full power, and no murder is allowed due to a truce pact, and a game zone where powers are restricted. Most of the action will occur in the game zone, but there will be a limited number of spaces available for players to be on the game zone. If a player is killed in the game zone, that player will return to the rest zone, but the number of spaces in the game zone will decrease. This mechanic may apply to additional zones that may be on the map if I implement them.
Mystery
Mystery? What's that? This is a game about Gods fighting each other. There are no mysteries here. You must have read the title wrong, clearly you are hallucinating. Go back to whatever you were doing now, there's nothing to see here.
