The Top of The Tower

[King V]

You stand at your podiums at the top of the tower and are surrounded by the open air. The night sky stretches above you and a thick black fog blocks out any light that may come from the stars. Directly above you is a massive pulsing red area, as if someone cut a hole in the sky and you could see its very own blood. The top of the tower looks to be a huge clock face.

A circular set of podiums seems to have been prepared with a throne in the center. However, the throne is vacant and you feel a strong sense of deja vu, as if someone was supposed to be here to greet you.

[King V]

"All of you have made it to the top of the tower. Now we begin the final trial and the Forging of Eternity. Those who survive the Forging may be granted that which surpasses your very desires."

"But first, Aeturnus wished for me to test all of you who reached the top. And so I will. Those who do not posses Blood Weapons, please step back and allow this trial to proceed without interruption."

[yaes]

"Only those with the shiny weapons, huh... How about one of you hand yours over? The nice way."

I sense some ulterior motive here...

*gets to the top on the elevator clock thingy*

"Oooooh, finally outside! Or... Is it outside really... Can't see anything both above and bellow... And after having shown so much technology I won't be surprised by anything anymore..."



"Oh, is something gonna start now? Another event?"

"I do believe so. This is what this supposed game has been building up too." 

"For now, we should stop with our meddling and just observe as requested. Perhaps afterwards we shall learn more about our situation."

[yaes]

"You already died miserably once, so how about you hand over that toy of yours, Raiden?"

[Falin Touden [Ven]]

*Observes*

[King V]

"Now then, please explain to me, participants, why are you here? What has brining you here accomplished?"

[King V]

"That's an easy question. There's someone named Aeturnus here who created some things called Blood Weapons from a new energy source he discovered called Aeturnums. He used these blood weapons as an energy source to try and save the world, but humanity fell anyway, and so this test is designed to create an ultimate blood weapon, an Eternity Weapon, to save humanity. We're the participants of the test and the ones who you want to possibly obtain the next Eternity Weapon."

[Ravan]

"Where's the master of this tower?"

[King V]

"Hold on there, Nue! As far as I know, we've never even seen this guy called Aeturnus! What makes you think he's the one who set up everything?! I say this is all just a hoax, some sick and twisted game for you to try and get us to murder each other! You saw what happened with Raiden, right? That's exactly what she wants us to do!"

[Funny Valentine [Silentgod]]

"Shush modern day Lloyd. I think we are gonna get our questions answered soon."

*Eats popcorn*

[King V]

"You're right, Seija. Aeturnus hasn't shown up in person, but perhaps that's all just part of the test. Aeturnus doesn't want to unveil the aura of this mystery, so he hasn't appeared yet in order to create doubt. It's all part of his test, that's what I believe anyway."

[King V]

"Yeah, I'm in agreement with Nue here. But I think you're wrong on one thing, Nue. I don't think Aeturnus is trying to save the world, I think he saved it already. The crisis the world was facing in the past was an energy crisis right? Aeturnus's Blood Weapons should have already solved that, and if he's trying to make an Eternity Weapon now... that should have nothing to do with the energy crisis, since he's already got Blood Weapons for that."
