The Reception

The Reception is a long hall with only a counter to the right. A servant is here, ready and waiting to provide you with directions if need be. Behind the servant is a number of shelves seemingly filled with papers. There is a register on the counter that you must sign if you are to avail yourself of the services provided in the vacation home. Fortunately, an ink well and quill pen are located right beside it. Behind the counter are a few dressers and shelves. The shelves seem to be filled with documents. Entrance behind the counter is blocked by a stand barrier with a small placard in between it saying "NO ENTRY".
The door behind the servant's original position is opened and everything within seems charred. There's blood pooling on the ground here and there's no sign of the servant who was initially here. Something smells like cooked meat, even.
