In your application to Tower Souls, please include the following. Please note that if your character dies partway through the game, you may create a new character at the last floor you cleared. You may only create up to 3 new characters throughout the game.

Physical Training (improves base stats)
Skill Training (grants a unique passive or active skill)
Trading (grants a large sum of money)
Treasure Hunting (grants a unique item)
Shinsu Control (grants the ability to use shinsu from the start of the game, consumes 3 activities instead of 1)

Backstory: He fashions himself a 'soldier', but really, more of a bandit or a criminal. Hans longs for the high life, dreaming of one day being just like the one who had ruled multiple floors despite not belonging to a Great Family. He'll make it there no matter how many heads he has to take.

Backstory: Climbing the Tower has always been a daunting task for many, even members of Great Families struggle with the goal. So how can a regular such as Yamcha even attempt to climb it? Who knows. Not even he knows. Maybe it's to prove that his life as a solo bandit was successful in some way? Maybe he just wants an excuse to move up a couple of floors and live a quiet and peaceful life? Will he even survive to tell the tale?

regular and a scholar?

The 10 dollar bargain bin lawyer without a father, got a lot farther by working a lot harder
by being a lot smarter by being a self starter by 14, they placed him in a training camp.

And every day while regular hopefuls were being slaughtered and carted away across the waves,
he struggled and kept his guard up. Inside he was longing to start his climb up,
the brother was ready to beg, steal, borrow or barter.

Backstory: Falin's brother decided to climb the tower and she hasn't heard from him, he's probably dead but she still wants to follow his footsteps. She loves the idea of being able to use shi, and be amazing at it, she probably won't but she still wants to try. She's not very bright, or strong, or powerful. But she has nowhere else to go.

Backstory- Aspiring idol who following in the footsteps of all the other greats who climbed the tower. Might not have the slightest clue what climbing entails, but she is sure the answer lays at the top.

Backstory: A blind whale mage started making machine dolls to see how far they'd get. They created a cyborg whose purpose is to advance through adapting itself through different technology, constantly evolving. The Tower was the perfect place to gather a plethora of items, tools, and weapons to evolve itself.
