Heritage: Tu Perie

Backstory: Sera is a Songstress/Idol that wants to climb the tower to boost her fame. Using her lighthouses and the fabulous network, she'll record her performances to all! She also needs to prove to her family that is actually a good job, and not a waste of time. She is a light-bearer who also uses her voice/singing for her "fighting" performances.

Sera's family wants her to be someone big in the Tu Perie family, and bring honor to the entire family; Sera wants to follow this path as well, but also as a free spirit. Why can't an idol lead the family?

Name: Seraphim

Heritage: Poe Bidau

Backstory: With the change of family head of Poe Bidau, many who disagreed against going to war with Eurasia, who were hiding afraid of getting persecuted Poe Bidau Sorin, are starting to come out of hiding and return to their normal life. Seraphim is one of those many, a pacifistic item enthusiast. Long has she dreamt of attending the Workshop Battle to get her hands on those outstanding cutting edge technology items and in general going on an adventure climbing the tower with her items and encountering even more items. She was too afraid of entering tower before, but now that peace has arrived, she is very intent on making it to the upcoming Workshop Battle.

Backstory: A fashionista who loves exploring and helping people out, mildly terrified of combat but somehow always survives. Luck and friends has always been her most

prevalent skills. Dreams of a tower filled with peace and fashion.

Name: Ryobin Soluna

Backstory: She is known as the Fell One within the Cult of Grimm, devoted to the worship of the Disgraced Creation. Chosen to represent the cult, she climbs the tower as their emissary in hopes to further their recognition and claim the title, Queen of Curses.

Name: Ari Knight
Heritage: Ari Family
History: At the apex of the prior war, a particularly pale branch of the Lo Po Bia family experimented with the concept of easily produced, disposable soldiers formed of almost entirely shinsu. These hollow soldiers would lack any sense of reason or purpose on their own. It would instead be instilled to them through the orders of their commanders. The theory went that the desire to give their lives for the cause would cause them to fight longer and more fiercely than any other soldier. The reality is that most of them went borderline suicidal. But failure is like. The ingredient of success. Or something.

Alas, the war ended before the design of the hollow soldiers was perfected, and the project was subsequently abandoned with no further need for the rejects. Those remaining were either locked away or just kind of left wandering the floors they were previously deployed on in the hopes that the problem would sort itself out. For what it's worth, this one didn't.

It appeared one day at the home of a prominent (well, as prominent as they can be) Ari member, needle in hand, and refused to leave until it was seen. This individual recognised the Knight's skill and took it under their wing. It was this meeting with the Ari family that subsequently led to new values being instilled into the Knight. Mostly things about Needles.

On the orders of its newly adopted family (whose current status it is EXTREMELY proud of), the Knight set out to climb the tower, learning the arts of various Needlemasters (who may or may not exist) along the way. Glory to Ari.

Name: Goten

Backstory: Goten wanted to climb the tower for two reasons. It’s nothing grand. Goten just wanted to get stronger and find a new home or maybe even family! You know, innocent goals that eight year olds have before they get crushed by the harsh reality of the Tower’s tasks. At least his smile will never fade though.

Name: Kai

Backstory: Kai heard a rumor that the royal family is planning something that will end with members of the Zahard family dead. Eager to get revenge against the Zahard family for the war that left his family dead, Kai is determined to climb the tower. He's also Sen's older brother.

Name: Misop

Backstory: Misop was raised in a monastery as long as he could remember. He was taught that shinsu was more than just a tool for survival and violence: it was interconnected with everything within the Tower, including himself. Without shinsu, Misop wouldn't exist; and without Misop, shinsu wouldn't exist. One night, Misop saw a vision of the famed Princess MEV, whose name brought both love and fear to the dwellers of the Tower. Although she has not appeared to the public in months, Misop believes that his vision is guided by the shinsu. Determined to meet the mistress in his dreams, Misop leaves his monastery to begin his climb up the Tower.

Name: Kana Arima Koon

The Child Prodigy

Backstory: Kana was born a genius koon with immense talent. She grew up and became a child actress, and starred in many commercials as a star, surrounded and spoiled by adults. However, an incident involving her strange unique galaxy eyes caused her to lose those close to her, and shut herself away from others. Not even she can fully recall the details. Being isolated from others, Kana was unable to act anymore, and began training to eventually climb the tower and make a new name for herself. Her genius aptitude allowed amazing control over Thunder and Light, but unlike most Koons was unable to use any Ice elemental moves whatsoever, so she spent quite a bit of time trying to overcome this before climbing despite being urged to climb at an incredibly young age.

Kana is now 17, and has fully given up on Ice magic. Frustrated and annoyed, Kana decided after the war that the time is now.

Kana has blood red hair despite being a proud Koon due to having mixed blood. She is often mocked in her family for her hair.
