The petite brunette was casually waiting at the fountain at the end of the path between the groves and the Crown Prince's... she couldn't remember.. She'd fallen asleep several hours ago due to exhaustion from dipping her hand in every fountain, not even nearly going over every nook and cranny. She was expecting visitors, and perhaps trouble. So she quietly leaned back, breathing in the fresh air. Though she felt stiff and a little less clean now. "At least I don't have hypothermia."

Making his way to the fountain, Zacharias noticed Bambi lifting her head from the fountain up in exhaustion. "Ah, I see you passed out in exhaustion from investigating. I wasn't able to get much sleep last night because of those blood-curdling screams, however... I suppose any form of rest we can gather at this point is nothing short of a miracle. Have you found anything worth note here?"

Bambi glanced up after feeling the presence of another, and hearing the familiar heavy clank of armor. she grinned, seeing Zacharius heading for her. "I've had a field day.' she explained. "Aside form that, I thought the fountains had ever-growing moss? I've checked every fountain her for something and only gained hands of ice." she laughed, briskly rubbing her hands together. "Yes actually. The King's Mirror reflects anything. Including behavior. Speak and it will repeat. greet and it will repeat with... less than desirable words." the woman stated, shifting a bit in her seat. "I also found a strange bottle with a green substance. but there is hardly any left inside of the bottle to attempt to identify it. it's also not labeled like anything in the infirmary..." she continued, stretching. However, her eyes looked hollow.
"The Mandrake, Nux Vomica, and Nightshade are all gone."

Zacharias was shocked at hearing that poison was already missing from the Infirmary. "That's...highly unsettling, especially considering that at least two separate people had to remove the poison from the cabinets because of how unstable they all are... But I know that there's a fountain here that has ever-growing moss." After saying these words, Zacharias walked over to the statue of a man holding a sphere and pointed it out to Bambi with his sword. "Here it is. This is the fountain and its statue that I found produces ever-growing moss."

Bambi quietly followed Zacharias. After a few moments, she immediately stuck her hands into the fountain in order to search it. "Thank you for letting me know." she stated, a slight crack in her voice due to the cold from the water. she could also feel another presence nearby. However, it was not familiar. It had a foreboding air about it. "I believe we have a third party."

After helping Bambi locate the fountain she sought, Zacharias noticed two other courtiers enter the garden and gave each them a greeting. "Ah, greetings Indrid and Yin. Have you two found anything of importance in your investigations so far?"

After finding nothing, Bambi childishly pouted. She was always a sore loser when she didn't get what she wanted. However, she gently patted Zacharias's shoulder to give him a small signal before abruptly heading back inside of the Palace. *Bambi Leaves*

*Sigh* "This place is still huge. I wonder what happened to all those broken areas though? It looks like a tornado went through them. . ."
*He sighs again*
"I could sweep there for hours and it still wouldn't be clean. . ."

Yet again, another day of exploration. Strangely less violent than the past four... three... she couldn't keep track of the time. But they had been here for around four days. Bambi heaved a sigh as she reentered the garden with Zacharias not far behind. "Let's see what we find today."
- "How eventful." *Bambi leaves*

Zacharius reflects several objects into the King's Mirror.
Upon reflecting the black sphere into the pool, the water starts reverberating with the rhythm of the sphere. You hear conversations mutter from the vibrations: Girl: Greetings, my -------. Today is a ------- day, for ------- your sovereign. Indeed, it is under unfortunate ------- that I bring you this -------. Nevertheless, rejoice that ------- an era -------. My rule will be -------. My father’s ------- at Tashtak will never be -------. Now is the ------- that you, my -------, serve in your ------- to me. It is the duty of the ------- to ------- their sovereign. I am the light of the ------- and I will illuminate the ------- with my -------. This nation was out of -------, but now I shall ------- former glory. This is our -------. ------- our time. Girl 1: I have ------- you all here today on the ------- anniversary of my rule. ‘Tis time that I admit that I am not -------. This is for the ------- of the kingdom. But, I am willing ------- concessions. You hear mumbling, and the conversation ends.
Girl 1: We have discovered the purpose of -------. We cannot permit this! Boy 1: This is -------! A sovereign cannot do this! Boy 2: When the people -------, there will be riots! -------! Girl 2: Calm down with the melodrama. ------- must be made. You, too, indulge in -------. This is the price you pay for -------, lest you wish to surrender my gifts. You hear muttering, and the conversation ends.
Upon reflecting the pair of glasse into the pool, you hear a series of conversations: Boy 1: Your Highness, it is an honor to finally meet you. Boy 2: As it is to meet you, Lord Nascio. I see my sister has taken a liking to you. Boy 1: That she has; I am quite flattered. Boy 2: If she chooses to marry you in the future, you will have to promise me that you will honor her. She is an incredible girl. Boy 1: That she is, Your Highness. She has a fire within her that I have never witnessed. Such talent should not be hidden. Boy 2: You speak the truth. Would that my sister have been born a boy. She would make a far better ruler than I could ever. And yet, there is no person more supportive of me than she. Boy 1: She accepts her duty as it is, and she of course loves you dearly. Naturally, she will always be there to guide Your Highness should you ever need it as sovereign. Boy 2: If I could be so lucky… You hear footsteps, and the conversation ends.
Girl: My beloved, it seems that I am at a crossroads. Boy: What is it that bothers you, my dear? Girl: I fear that wretched thoughts have crossed my mind… Boy: What such thoughts do you speak of? Girl: That man Previz, my tutor, he has laid the seed of treacherous ideals. Things I could never wish to do. Boy: If you are at conflict, that means you must make a choice. You hear silence, and the conversation ends.
Boy 1: Crendor, are you sure that this will work? Boy 2: Yes, Your Highness. It is enchanted in the same manner as my cabinet. It should hold the substances together without any harm coming to you. Boy 1: I must ask you why you chose to do this. Boy 2: I believe in Her Highness. I made the decision to commit treason on my own volition. Boy 1: Then, you have our gratitude. This act will not be forgotten. Boy 2: I am most honoured, Your Highness. You hear a series of footsteps, and the conversation ends.
Upon reflecting the platinum crown into the pool, you hear a series of conversations: Girl 1: “So, this is the power of the King’s Mirror. The waters memorize the sounds associated with a certain object. And then they vibrate to recreate the sounds?” Girl 2: “Possibly.” Girl 1: “In that case, everything we say here is being recorded, and the clothes we are wearing, for example, are associated with that recording?” Girl 2: “Possibly.” Girl 1: “That’s reassuring. I can store all my findings here, then. And surely I will come across something of yours that will tell me more about what is going on here.” Girl 2: “Be careful where you tread, peasant.” You hear quick footsteps, and the conversation ends.
Boy 1: “You have sworn your loyalty to us, Causo. Never forget that.” Boy 2: “Yes, Your Majesty. It is forever etched in my mind. I live to serve you.” Boy 1: “Then remember what this crown represents. The Princess is the eternal sovereign of this kingdom. There is no luxury of doubt here.” Boy 2: “Of course, Your Majesty. I just… I am not the lion that Her Majesty is. My soul, would that I still have one, aches from my actions. Yet I must continue faithfully.” Boy 1: “That is what expect to hear. Now return to your quarters and continue your work. You hear paced footsteps and the conversations ends.”
Boy: “Is this the truth? Is this why we are here?” Girl: *laughs* “I have absolutely no clue what you’re spouting on about.” Boy: “You cannot continue to lie further. I have proof!” Girl: “Proof, you say? Do tell.” Boy: “I saw behind and under the stone. Inside that box. The evidence of your evil is abound!” Girl: “Not a single soul will believe you, boy. You are my servant.” Boy: “I refuse to die here for you! I’ll find a way out of here and reveal all.” Girl: “Then do so. If you could, we would not be having this discussion. Come hither and slay me, peasant.” Boy: “I know I can. I found the secrets.” You hear swift footsteps and the boy yelling, and then screaming in pain. The conversation then ends. Girl: “That treacherous Previz fooled us! This is not which we were promised.” Boy 1: “We shall find him and mete out justice. Crendor, you must try to find any hint as to what went wrong and how to make it proper.” Boy 2: “Forgive me, sir. This is beyond my knowledge!” Boy 1: “Then make it within your knowledge.” Boy 2: “S-Sir, yes, of course.” Girl: “Ease on him, Nascio. For now, we must search for a way to maintain this, lest we suffer from the clear consequences.” You hear paced, concurrent footsteps and the conversation ends.
Boy: “Caelle, it is over. Breathe.” Girl: *heavily breathing* “What I have done… ‘Tis t--” Boy: “Say such things no more. There is much to be done now.” Girl: “You have the right of mind. Let us continue with our plan.” Boy: “Come, that man awaits us.” You hear two sets of footsteps and the conversation ends.

After the rather strange events at the King's mirror, it felt as if it was time to discuss what happened. Perhaps even the identities of who had spoken in the past. How long ago had this occurred? Would it be useful now...? Bambi too a seat beneath a tree near the King's mirror as the mid day sun beat down on the world around it. How unfortunate... "Now then... can anyone aside from myself deduce what that was all about?"
