She bit her lip, considering carefully what she might say. She also felt another presence within the room. This place was quite popular today. "I'm afraid that neither you, nor I, could ever frighten him past the point he is already at." she stated. His behavior suggested so much. the heaviest suggestion being a lack of sanity due to something horrible happening in the past. PTSD seemed to be the most likely case, with his frantic movements. She almost pitied him- yet, he seemed to have mind enough to look around freely. So perhaps he was not deprived of his intellect. "I've recently found a journal entry and some notes detailing the past, but... nothing to really shed light on what caused all of this blood shed."

"Yes, that man did seem to be suffering from some severe mental illness, but I feel like he suffered it because of his presence around so much trauma. It's no wonder that he went mad from all this..." After Zacharias said this, he immediately stopped and felt short of breath. He put his head down and clenched his fist in a feeling of both anger and apprehension. "It's...just so strange. Why do I feel like I can relate to how that man feels?!"

Straightening up, she looked at him with slight anticipation. "You more than likely can. I've been suspecting since our incident back at the vacation home that you were withering in your past." she rather bluntly stated, her smile fading. "For all I know, I'm in the middle of a group of people suffering from traumatic pasts and events that I could never contemplate. Everyone here has an expression that says they have a secret. Everyone here either knows someone and holds a grudge, or is carefully watching." she explained, briefly glancing over her shoulder at the third party in the room. "Everyone..."
Pausing, she carefully put a gentle hand on the armor clad man's shoulder. "But as I said at the vacation home; not everything here needs to be a bad memory." the woman stated, brightening up a little. "A bad past can only be pushed forward. There is no changing it."

After hearing these words from Bambi, Zacharias finally understood how he could relate to the man, and her words put his mind at ease. "Thank you very much, Bambi. I...needed somebody to snap me back to my senses. I don't expect to change the things that I have done, but I won't just brush them off like they didn't happen. All of my life is like a picture, but it is up to myself alone to decide where I should put the frame. I won't dwell on my past any longer, but I can't simply forget it."

Glancing at the cabinets and their contents, Bambi was tempted to take something. But all things considered, it might do more harm than good. "No need to forget. Just take it with a grain of salt and spoonful of sugar." she joked, taking a moment to focus on their silent guest. "Aside from this simple chatter... I wonder why you are listening so closely, yet not speaking a word?" she asked, taking a few steps towards him. Of course he'd probably taken note of their little exchange. Or perhaps, that was why he was simply listening. "Who might you be?"

The AI had been observing the curious room silently a moment before, and paused in his investigation to acknowledge the stranger's greeting. Static didn't expect to be called out to like this. He retreated a step or two cautiously, as the stranger advanced. The boy glanced around at his company. He titled his head in a silent question.

Her expression softened a bit due to his response to her movement, and her muscles became more relaxed. She hadn't expected an almost robotic voice to emanate from his vocal cords. Giving him a genuine smile of apology, she gestured to Zacharius. "My appologies. I suppose being in this place has made me quite paranoid. I am Bambi, and this is my friend, Zacharius." she explained. "Forgive us for disturbing you. I shall return later after I escort my friend to his room" she stated, hooking an arm around Zacharius's and leading him out of the room. "If you wish to converse further, simply wait." *Bambi Leaves*

Static considered the stranger. So she was called Bambi. He could tell she was a careful person, from how she was wary of his presence. She was seemingly friendly. The woman had a knowing air, one that Static could recognize well, and she carried herself with confidence. Her companion had yet to speak directly to the AI. He wore heavy armor. The boy bowed his head and deliberately choose not to speak. His voice often unnerved those around him, and this way was best for everyone. He had little to say in the first place. Static was one to do rather than say.
He watched as the woman linked arms with Zacharius, and promptly left.
Static was intrigued. Bambi seemed like a nice person, but he knew better than to immediately trust people, even if they had a nice smile. Still, Static decided to wait. Perhaps conversing with someone might help to shed some light on the situation. The AI absently inspected the blood stained bed, as he waited for Bambi's return.
(Unfortunately, I have to go to bed and sleep... or something... so I'll be going to my room as well.)

EDIT: Oh my. I'll make an appropriate response next time. that aside I'll see who else comes in. Like smithy boy. Returning to the room, Bambi stepped through carefully with her focus on the very evident presence of someone familiar. "Hello?"

Static heard as Bambi entered the room. He froze, where he was standing beside the bed. Refusing to look up from his scrutiny, he listened as she greeted him. Static glanced up at the woman, then cast his gaze once more to the bloodstained bed. As she spoke, he suddenly found an object of immense interest on the red sheet, and continued averting his gaze. As Bambi slowly approached, Static stiffened. Suddenly his attention was focused on the approaching figure. He watched carefully as she lowered herself into a sitting position on the bed. Static shifted. Despite that, he didn't move away. For him, it was unnerving being so close to someone while unarmed. But the boy figured drawing his weapons would be a terrible idea, so he stood, motionless. He cleared his throat, a nervous tick he developed by observing. It was surprisingly loud in the otherwise silent room. He began. Then stopped, unsure how exactly to continue. He questioned, looking into Bambi's eyes. It had been bothering them since their arrival. Something was horribly wrong. It was blatantly obvious, but no one seemed to mind the blood splatters and dead bodies. The unfinished clues... Static simply needed someone to confirm his suspicions... That the killing wasn't over.

The stranger turns from looking under the bed.
"Hello! The ghosties are acting up again... They're making a huge mess of everything, leaving graffiti everywhere! You should be careful not to get stamped, yourself! Now then, for the Princess!!" The stranger shouts, just before escaping to some nonexistant sunset unknown location, armed with soap, water, and a towel.

The woman carefully eyed static for a few moments, crossing her legs as she sat at the edge of the infirmary bed. "I have no idea." She replied in a simple manner. Leaning over, her face became rather blank. "But what I do know is that we're in a slaughter house. Much bloodshed took place a long time ago. And any evidence as to why relates directly to the princess." she explained. His expression and body language told her he was incredibly tense, she she relaxed her posture a bit more. "And look... I have no intention of harming anyone here, least of all if they did nothing to deserve it. Please, relax?" she asked politely. "I'm sure neither you, nor I, want any trouble."
"By the way, a friend of mine had some food given to him, which he has not consumed yet. Would you be able to detect poison?"
Bambi is also slightly surprised, if not disturbed by the sudden return and disappearance of the man from before. She raises a brow, but pays no mind to it.

Static watched anxiously as he awaited the woman's reply. As stressful as it was, speaking his fears out, it relieved a lot of weight from his shoulders. Her next words sent chills down his spine. Bloodshed... Static nodded. The princess did appear to be at the center of the mysterious violence in the castle. She was a person with ties to every death, and Static suspected she was more involved than there was reasonable proof. The AI was naturally suspicious of humans, but he got the feeling that Bambi spoke the truth. She could at least sense that his cautious manner wasn't hostile so much as careful. A mistake many made. He shook his head at her question. Such a thing was impossible for him. It would be safer to avoid suspicious or uncertain foods at this point. In this castle, that would be all food.

Her expression remained unchanging, despite his rather disappointing answer. "I see. Then at least, thank you for your time. I suppose I should not bother you any further." she stated, standing up and dusting herself off. She gave a polite bow before exiting the room. "You may follow me if you like. I'm quite sure being left alone in and of itself would be unfortunate." Bambi added, swiftly exiting the room. *Bambi leaves*
