Running down the hallways was disorienting, yet not nearly so much as the loud screams that had been ringing throughout the second floor earlier. Bambi had never pinpointed or found the source. All she knew was that in the Gallery of the Princess, she had heard them well enough to at least follow them. But they were gone after a short while. Her ears twitched slightly and the hairs on the back of her neck stood up as she glanced down the hall to see another person from the carriage. Of course, she didn't know this person's name at all. But they seemed just as confused as she was.
"As far as I can tell, someone was in trouble and we never got to them in time."
