"Sacrifice of blood? Now, let's not become mundane creatures... not yet at the very least."
*Raphael pulls out a piece of crumbled paper in his pocket and unfolds it, stretching it out for others to view from afar*
"... I'm not sure about the meaning of it, but... this slip happened to be my gift from the Princess. When we entered this room admist the gruesome cries, it had begun to glow.
Why for? One may raise... I checked, and well... nothing about the content of the paper changed, but it appeared to be glowing as a reminder of some sort."
*clearing his throat, Raphael turns the paper back towards himself in attempt to read aloud*
"The message that had been conveyed from the start: The only way through this palace is with blood. Although, I believe this is a saying we are already familiar with thanks to her Majesty..."
*Raphael's eyes dart in uncertainty to the other couurtiers as he neatly folds the paper once more and awaits a response*

 If it simply desires blood, why not give it just blood? No need for lives. Someone just cut themselves or another and let the castle drink. *Yawns* I'm a little tired now so I'll turn in for the day. Good night all! |
