I cannot attest as to what Gundam was holding or doing, since I was in front of him guarding the door. I do not believe the killer would be capable of removing the projectile, considering the size of the wound, even Tanaka's Hamsters(Dark lords) would be unable to reach through the mask to the actual item. Removing an item with all of us in the room would be nigh on impossible.

Crossroad, when Gundam shot at the ceiling earlier in the trial,
it made bullet holes, but I didn't notice any bullets.
That could lend support to what Kirigiri is saying.

However, the end of the barrel is a few millimeters wide.
That should mean that the bullets that would come out would be larger than what we are looking for. Unless I am mistaken, as I cannot tell if the bullet holes on the ceiling are 1mm.

...I'm afraid I don't know what point you are trying to make. A bullet couldn't have made a 1mm wound and then there is:

If no one has a theory, then I'll create one.

If I recall... Marisa had fired a laser at the ceiling, causing the sprinklers to turn on.

This means that Cirno could have possibly frozen a drop of water and that drop ended up killing Sova.

By no means is this a perfect theory, instead... It has multiple holes, as I just thought this up in the last minute.
