I'd joke about having a bit more Hope,
but I guess that you mean an actual item?
I've thought of a number of things involving the Art Room, but they didn't seem to be it...
Like checking the direction of the bird, the easels, and even the construction paper for hints.
I wonder if we should paint this room though...? I feel like it'd end up ruining the puzzle though...

 No, it's not an item that I'm missing. I think this puzzle is solvable on its own, but... it's something I can't explain very well. Painting the room didn't work, I watched Kirigiri do it. The paint just faded. -Komaeda thinks deeply- |

If not that, I'd like to ask if it might involve an old saying "Think outside the box."
However, I don't suppose we can find a secret passage or anything...
