 Let's start this discussion. Kubota ran to the guest halls from the Library. I don't know if he went straight there or took a detour but that hardly matters. The fact that his watch was broken signifies he likely perished around 3:26 PST. I have a theory that might be able to make this the work of a man and not this curse we have heard about. But I would like to here your thoughts first.

 Rooms B and E are adjacent to room C. If the culprit didn't use the door, they most likely crossed the balconies in some manner. However, earlier I believe Akumi mentioned a wire from the lightbulb in the boiler room going missing, did she not? From the boiler room one could also acquire coal to start a fire. The lighter from the study is also missing. If a person simply used all of the items above to burn Kubato to a crisp, then take his key and lock the door with the chain from the outside using the wire, it'd be a simple- -Youmu pauses, looking at the ground- What was that...? -Youmu runs off quickly- |

* Sova enters the Library. She is all wet from top to bottom. 1 hand hides the chest of her wet uniform and the other hand holds the axe that she is dragging along the floor making the scratching noise. She stops in front of everyone.

Emil yelled for us from the guest rooms. He smelled burnt flesh from Kubota's room. We managed to get the door open only to find his corpse. As you can see we have moved the body here. We were currently discussing what might have happened when the sound of you dragging the axe gave us quite the fright. |
