Welcome to Starless Dusk! You will be applying for your character here and a spot to participate in the season. Below you will find a small summary of the scenario your character has found themselves in, but for more details check the Starless Story thread. Beneath that you will find what you need to include in your application along with an example.



:The Scenario:

You are a citizen of the Starless City, a strange world between worlds. The City is covered in a perpetual twilight and its dull streets run for miles without any change of scenery. This dull drab cityscape is your home, but not by your decision. The Starless Law states any inhabitants of other worlds who wander into the Starless City may never leave. You came from another world and through some trick of fate, found yourself wandering through a tear in reality and into the Starless City. You don't recall how long you have been here as tracking time in the darkness of this place is rather difficult. Your needs are well taken care of and you never find yourself wanting for food, drink, or the minor pleasantries. Sadly, these do little to offset the unending darkness of the city.



Since your arrival you have learned that SOME inhabitants of the Starless City are allowed to leave. In fact, they not only get to leave, they can come and go between many worlds as they please. These persons, known as the Starless Lords, leave and bring back the things you need to survive as well as whatever else pleases them. If this wasn't enough to make them the envy of every citizen, they also possess a strange power, bestowed upon them from the ruler of the Starless City.


You have heard that these Lords were once citizens like you, desperate to get out of this place and having proven themselves to the King, given power and status. Now, you hear whispers of a trial run by the Starless King and his Lords. A trial to determine one citizen to raise to the status of Starless Lord. Not long after, a woman caught you snooping around Starless Lords and offered you a chance to take the trial to become a lord. Perhaps it was freedom that motivated you, or perhaps the power, regardless you stated your name and agreed to take the Trial.

Personality: Nanase is an altruist, through and through.  If it'll make others happy, then he doesn't mind hurting himself in the process; if it comes to "walking off a cliff if someone asked you to," then he would "think" about it first as he has only one life to offer.  He takes all the negative words directed at him with an optimistic attitude.

Personality notes: Manipulative as hell. Perfectly fine with backstabbing anyone he doesn't like. Very difficult to tell if he likes you or not. He'll usually end up making one or two actual friends which he cares about. Everyone else is completely disposable.

Personality Notes: Pure. Loved by both children and adults alike. Kind. Amazing dancer and singer. Sometimes clumsy. Cute. There's no person inside O____O

Personality: Lloyd is a sociopath. Although he expresses no interest in love, he dedicates himself to science which seems to be the only thing he has a "heart" for. Whenever talking about anything else, he comes off as uncaring and sometimes rude, even though this is unintentional. He also prefers not to divulge information about personal details.

My name is Sophia Ring SP Saturn VII, although people call me Satone Shichimiya for some reason.

I am the Magical Devil Girl, here to aid the hero. Whatever the hero chooses to do, I shall support. Even if it costs me... Now that I think of it, Mirrored Heart might be an interesting title as well.

Forever cheerful of course! I've never cried in my life. Nihahaha...ha......

Red would be my choice here. Just a shade lighter and it'll be pink.

Name: Shinka Nibutani Mori Summer
Preferred Role: Guide Last Mage
Personality: Shinka is always friendly and polite in public, but when she is alone with close friends she reveals that her true personality is a bit more bitter and easily irritable. When she thinks about her old delusional life, her embarrassment leads her to do ridiculous things such as hitting the floor or rolling around. Despite her flaws, she's genuinely a kind-hearted person who loves and cares about her friends, and she will help them if needed.
Colour Color: Red.

Name: Rikka Takanashi (AKA The Tyrant's Eye)

Preferred Role: Chuunibyou, Dark Sorceress

Personality: She is an active Chuunibyou, who still has the syndrome. Her delusional syndrome involves her right eye which she calls it her "Tyrant's Eye," in which according to her it wields darkness tamed by the power of a pure heart. Actually, her so called "Tyrant's Eye" is nothing more than a colored contact lens which she conceals underneath an eye-patch. She is cautious of strangers and adapts a battle pose whenever she meets someone for the first time.

Name: Yuuta Togashi (Dark Flame Master)

Preferred Role: The voice of reason ,Master of Dark Flames and the summoner of the cursed Dark Flame Dragon

Personality: Used to be a chunnibyou in his younger days, but today completely regrets it and is very embarrassed by it. He is also extremely self-conscious and might get aggressive because of that. He tries his best not to get any needless attention and any reminders of his chunni days. Otherwise, Yuuta is responsible, diligent and tries to stay as normal and serious as possible.
(There may however be a hidden side of him that is still chunni, but he would never admit that.)

Personality: This witness has no grasp of empathy or the emotions of others, and will act coldly and indifferently to anyone around them. However, the sudden loss of purpose and the changes in the circumstances around them has sent this witness onto a journey of self-discovery, and has made them into a more conflicted and contemplative individual. Their experiences here might decide what path they take on next.

Personality: Seemingly kind, caring, and helpful, however has been known to have a darker side.

Personality: Yoff's dangerous appearance matches his personality. He speaks slowly with a throbbing voice that seems to reverberate in the air. Yoff has absolutely no interest in cooperating with anyone and has no qualms using violence to make a point, or defend one.
