- The animator seems to have become more... animated with Izuna's question.
He approaches Izuna without hesitation -
"You can see it too? I thought that no one else could, because I would be called 'weird' whenever I stare at someone's status screen or I search around areas for hidden gold and crafting material!"
- While still transfixed on Izuna's show of athleticism, he chirps back a few responses -
"The calibrations we are doing right now, rather than for being 'comfortable,' are to account for personal health issues and so on.
As the contract Project Restart handed out has no death waiver written on it, we're still accountable for the players' health.
We do have a list of possible 'side-effects' in case the worse scenario happens while playing."
- Darren, placing his reorganized folders on a windowsill, makes a subtle waving gesture with both hands -
"E-Excuse me, everyone, but the system should have finished preparations by now.
Before everyone logs in, I-I'll be providing some instructions on how to put on the CIS (conscience integration system).
If you haven't already, then please, claim a s-seat. There should be enough for everyone who is participating in the beta test.
It's not like these will be permanent seats or anything, so don't think t-too much in choosing one."
- Darren sweeps a hand in a small gesture towards the numerous swivel chairs located across the room.
Darren quickly surveys the room before realizing that there are no extra headsets to use as a visual example. His fingers curl inwards as a moment easily passes.
Seeing as Lechter is the only person seated, Darren sheepishly skirts behind him with a headset taken from the chair's station -
"So f-first, you put on the CIS like this."
- He mumbles an apology under his breath before plopping the bulky headgear on Lechter.
Darren's hand reaches for a dial and as the knob turns, a pitch black visor lowers to obscure Lechter's vision.
The tester takes a final glance to ascertain that the ears are properly covered by part of the CIS and points towards a switch located above where Lechter's right ear should be -
"We then lower the visor with this dial on the side.
It's always important to do a last inspection to m-make sure that the gear doesn't shift during excessive movement.
Because we would prefer tat everyone logs in at the same t-time, we ask of you not to touch this slide-switch until everyone else is ready."
